    Hold thelens firmly andslide thelock lever tothe Lock position (asshown) untilitlocks.

    Replace thelens cover.

    Ifprompted, selectYestocalibrate thelens.
     Note:
    Lenscalibration helpstheprojector tocorrectly acquirethelens position andadjustment
     range,
    andcantake upto100 seconds tocomplete. Whencalibration isfinished, thelens returns to
     the
    same position itwas inbefore calibration. (ELPX01returnstothe standard position.)

    When usingoneofthe following lenses,selectthelens type inthe Extended menu:ELPLS04,
     ELPLU02,
    ELPLR04,ELPLW04, ELPLM06,ELPLM07,orELPLL07.

    Caution:
    Removethelens onlywhen necessary andmake surethefront ofthe projector isnot facing up
     when
    youremove thelens. Thisprevents dirtordust from entering theprojector andlowering the
     projection
    quality.Avoidtouching thelens withyour bare hands toprevent fingerprints onordamage to
     the
    lens surface.
     1.
    Center thelens using theLens Shift(remote) orLens (control panel)button.
     2.
    Turn offthe projector andunplug thepower cord.
     3.
    Pull thelens cover offofthe projector.
     4.
    Hold thelens firmly asyou slide thelock lever tothe Release position(asshown) untilyouhear it
     click.

    Gently pullthelens straight outofthe projector.

     You
    canattach thecable cover thatcame withyour projector tohide theattached cablesfromview.
     1.
    Bundle thecables together usingaband orother fastener (notprovided).
     Caution:
    Donot bundle thepower cordtothe other cables. Otherwise, afire may occur.
     2.
    Place thecable cover onthe projector asshown, guiding thecables through thenotch onthe base of
     the

    Tighten bothcable cover screws.
     To
    remove thecover, loosen bothscrews andpullthecover offofthe projector.

     Caution:

    Ifyour projector isconnected viaaLAN cable toanetwork thatincludes awireless accesspoint,

    canconnect tothe projector wirelessly throughtheaccess pointusing theEpson network software.

    Projector Nameletsyou enter aname upto16 alphanumeric characterslongtoidentify the

    Remote Password letsyou enter apassword upto8alphanumeric characterslongforaccessing
     the
    Remote inthe Epson WebControl. (Defaultusername isEPSONREMOTE ;default password
     is
    guest .)
     •
    Web Control Password letsyou enter apassword upto8alphanumeric characterslongfor
     accessing
    theEpson WebControl. (Defaultusername isEPSONWEB ;default password is
     admin
    .)
     •
    Projector Keywordletsyou turn onasecurity password toprevent accesstothe projector by
     anyone
    notinthe room withit.You must enter adisplayed, randomized keywordfromacomputer
     using
    theEasyMP MultiPCProjection softwaretoaccess theprojector.
     Note:
    Usethedisplayed keyboardtoenter thename, passwords andkeyword. Pressthearrow
     buttons
    onthe remote controltohighlight characters andpress Enter toselect them.

    Select theWired LANmenu andpress Enter.
     8.
    Select yourIPSettings asnecessary:
     •
    Ifyour network assignsaddresses automatically, turnonthe DHCP setting.
     •
    Ifyou must setaddresses manually,turnoffDHCP andenter theprojectors IPAddress ,Subnet
     Mask
    ,and Gateway Addressasneeded.
     Note:
    Tohighlight thenumbers youwant fromthedisplayed keyboard, pressthearrow buttons on
     the
    remote control. Toselect ahighlighted number,pressEnter.
     9.
    Toprevent displayofthe IPaddress onthe standby screen,turnoffIPAddress Display.
     10.
    When youfinish selecting settings,selectComplete andfollow theon-screen instructions tosave
     your
    settings andexitthemenus.
