    Image Shape You can project an evenly rectangular image by placing the projector directly in front of the center of the
    screen and keeping it level. If you place the projector at an angle to the screen, or tilted up or down, or off
    to the side, you may need to correct the image shape for the best display quality.

    Correcting Image Shape with H/V Keystone You can use the projectors H/V Keystone setting to correct the shape of an image that is unevenly
    rectangular on the sides.
    Note:You cannot combine H/V Keystone correction with other image adjustment methods.
    1. Turn on the projector and display an image. Note: You can display a pattern to aid in adjusting the projected image using the Settings menu.

    You can also display a pattern to aid in adjusting the projected image using the Test Pattern
    button on the remote control.
    2. Press the Menubutton.
    3. Select the Settingsmenu and press Enter.
    4. Select the Geometry Correctionsetting and press Enter.
    Note: You can also access the geometric adjustment screen by pressing the Geometrybutton on
    the remote control or the up arrow button on the control panel.
    5. Select the H/V-Keystone setting and press Enter. Then press Enteragain.
    You see the H/V-Keystone adjustment screen:

    6. Use the arrow buttons on the projector or the remote control to select between vertical and
    horizontal keystone correction and to adjust the image shape as necessary.

    7. When you are finished, press
    Esc.
    After correction, your image is slightly smaller.

    Correcting Image Shape with Quick Corner You can use the projectors Quick Corner setting to correct the shape and size of an image that is
    unevenly rectangular on all sides.
    1. Turn on the projector and display an image.
    Note: You can display a pattern to aid in adjusting the projected image using the Settings menu.
    Note: You can also display a pattern to aid in adjusting the projected image using the Test Pattern
    button on the remote control.
    2. Press the Menubutton.

    3. Select the
    Settingsmenu and press Enter.
    4. Select the Geometry Correction setting and pressEnter.
    5. Select the Quick Corner setting and press Enter. Then press Enteragain.
    You see the Quick Corner adjustment screen:
    Note: To reset your adjustments, press and hold the Escbutton for at least 2 seconds to display a
    reset screen. Then select Yes.

    6. Use the arrow buttons on the projector or the remote control to select the corner of the image you
    want to adjust. Then press Enter.
    7. Press the arrow buttons to adjust the image shape as necessary.
    8. When you are finished, press Esc.

    Correcting Image Shape with Curved Surface You can use the projectors Curved Surface setting to adjust the shape of an image projected on a
    curved surface.
    Note:For the best results, project from the front of the screen onto a surface with a uniform arc radius
    and with the lens in the home position. The image may not be evenly focused throughout even after
    performing the steps here. If you see a 4K Enhancement message, select Yesto disable the 4K
    Enhancement feature.
    1. Turn on the projector and display an image.
    Note: You can display a pattern to aid in adjusting the projected image using the Settings menu.

    2. Press the Menubutton.
    3. Select the Settingsmenu and press Enter.
    4. Select the Geometry Correction setting and pressEnter.
    5. Select the Curved Surface setting and press Enter.
    Note: If you see a confirmation message, press Enter.
    You see this screen:
    6. Select the Correct Shape setting and press Enter.

    7. Use the arrow buttons on the projector or the remote control to select the area you want to adjust.
    Then press Enter.
    Note: To reset your adjustments, press and hold the Escbutton for at least 2 seconds to display a
    reset screen. Then select Yes.
    8. Use the arrow buttons on the projector to adjust the image shape.
    Note: If the adjustment triangle turns gray, you cannot adjust the shape any further in that direction.

    9. Press the
    Escbutton to return to the Curved Surface menu screen.
    10. Repeat the previous three steps as necessary to adjust other image areas. If the image expands or contracts, continue with the next step to adjust the linearity.
    11. Select one of the following from the Curved Surface menu screen: •Horizontal Linearity: Adjusts horizontal expansion or contraction.
    • Vertical Linearity: Adjusts vertical expansion or contraction.
    12. Select a displayed line to use as a baseline and press Enter.
    The selected baseline flashes red and white.
    13. Adjust the linearity by doing one of the following: • Press the left arrow button to contract the distance between the lines closest to the baseline.
    • Press the right arrow button to expand the distance between the lines closest to the baseline.
    14. When you are finished, press the Menubutton.
    Note: If necessary, you can adjust the image tilt using the Quick Cornersetting, then fine-tune your
    adjustments using the Point Correctionsetting.

    with right angles, such as a rectangular pillar or the corner of a room.
    Note:For the best results, project from the front of the screen onto a right-angled surface and with the
    lens in the home position. The image may not be evenly focused throughout even after performing the
    steps here. If you see a 4K Enhancement message, select Yesto disable the 4K Enhancement feature.
    Corner Wall is not supported for the ELPLX01 lens.
    1. Turn on the projector and display an image.
    Note: You can display a pattern to aid in adjusting the projected image using the Settings menu.

    button on the remote control.
