From the Tool menu, select Mail notification function. 3. Turn the Mail notification function setting On. 4. Enter the IP address and port number of your network’s SMTP (outgoing) mail server. 5. If a projector experiences a problem, EMP Monitor sends an e-mail message to each of the addresses you entered in the Set mail notification function window. The subject line and body of the message includes the projector’s name and the warning or error (similar to those listed on page 80). 85 6 Maintaining the Projector Your projector needs little maintenance. All you have to do on a regular basis is keep the lens cover glass clean. Any dirt or smears on the lens cover glass may show up on your projected image. You may need to clean the air filter. A clogged air filter can block ventilation needed to cool the projector and cause overheating. The only parts you should replace are the lamp and air filter. If any other part needs replacing, contact your dealer or a qualified servicer....

It is time to replace the lamp when: ■The projected image gets darker or starts to deteriorate. ■The message Replace the Lamp appears on the screen and when the lamp comes on and the lamp warning light flashes orange.
