4Remove the existing modem:
aRemove the screw securing the modem to the system board, and set it aside.
bPull straight up on the attached pull-tab to lift the modem out of its connector on the 
system board, and disconnect the modem cable.
5Install the replacement modem:
aConnect the modem cable to the modem.
 NOTICE: The connectors are keyed to ensure correct insertion. If you feel resistance, check the 
connectors and realign the card.

aInsert the battery at a 30-degree angle under the latch release with the positive side up,

8Lift the display away from the computer at a 90-degree angle. Ensure that the antenna cables, 
light cable, and display cable are free from the routing channels and that the cables move 
freely when you lift the display.
When you replace the display, ensure that the display cable and the light cable are securely 
tucked underneath the tabs in the routing channels. Insert the antenna cables through the

4Insert a scribe into the notch and push it to the side to release the drive from the bay. 
5Slide the drive out of the bay.
