Using the Wrist Strap (for S500wi only)
Please use the wrist strap as a safety prec aution in case of loss of grip on the 
Interactive Pen, and prevent damage to the Interactive Pen, surrounding objects, 
or injury to other people.
1Feed the cord on the wrist strap through the connector holder.
2Wear the wrist strap on your wrist.

Installing the Remote Control Batteries
 NOTE: Remove the batteries from the remote control when not in use.
1Press the tab to lift the battery compartment cover.
2Check the polarity (+/-)  marking on the batteries.
3Insert the batteries and alig n their polarity correctly 
according to the marking in the battery compartment.
 
NOTE: Avoid mixing different types  of batteries or using 
new and old batteries together.
4Slip the battery cover back.

Charging the Interactive Pen Battery (for 
S500wi only)
When the Interactive Pen amber battery light starts to blink, its internal battery is 
low (If the battery is fully discharged, you will not be able to turn the Interactive 
Pen on by pressing its nib, left, right or set function buttons).
To charge the battery, connect a mini US B cable between the Interactive Pen and 
your computer or laptop (If connecting  to computer or laptop, make sure the 
computer or laptop is powered...

Charging the Interactive Pen Battery by 
Docking Charger
When the Interactive Pen amber battery light start to blink, its internal battery is 
low (If the battery is fully discharged, you wont be able to turn the Interactive Pen

To charge the battery, you can follow the following steps to install:
1Connect the power cable to the wall outlet.
2Plug the Interactive Pen into the Mini USB port of the docking charger.

 NOTE: During the charging process, Interactive Pen amber battery light will be 
lit all the time until the charging completed.
 
NOTE: For first time use, it takes at leas t 4-5 hours to fully charge the battery. A 
fully charged battery will allow up to 25 hours of non-stop use or up to 4 weeks 
in standby.
 
CAUTION: If your docking charger cannot charge, contact DELL™.

Bright mode.
• Can support multiple pens (up to 10 pens) connecting to one projector  but the pens cannot be used simultaneously.
