4.  When  the Dell Diagnostics  Main  Menu appears,  select the test that  you want  to  run. 
Starting the Dell Diagnostics From the Drivers and Utilities Media
1.  Insert the  Drivers  and  Utilities  media. 
2 .  Shut  down  and  restart  the computer. 
When  the DELL  logo  appears,  press   immediately.
If  you wait  too  long and  the Windows logo  appears,  continue to  wait  until you see the Windows desktop. Then shut
down  your  computer  and  try again.

4.  When  the tests  are completed, if you are running  the Dell Diagnostics from  the  Drivers  and  Utilities media,  remove the
media.
5 .  Close  the test screen to  return  to  the  Main Menu  screen. To exit  the Dell Diagnostics and  restart  the computer, close
the  Main  Menu  screen.

The  boot menu  allows  you to  set  a  one -time boot sequence without  entering  system  setup. You  can  also  use this procedure
to  run  the diagnostics  on your

NOTE: Making changes in the boot menu  does  not make  any changes to  the boot order  stored  in the System  Setup
program.

If  you are unable  to  enter System  Setup  by pressing the   key  when  the Dell Logo appears,  continue to  wait  until you
see the Windows desktop. Then restart  your  computer  and  press    when  the keyboard lights first flash.
