Installing internal options
Accessing the system board to install internal options
CAUTION—SHOCK HAZARD: When accessing the system board, turn the printer off, and then unplug the power
cord from the wall outlet before continuing. If you have other devices attached to the printer, then turn them
off as well and unplug any cables going to the printer.

Installing a memory card
CAUTION—SHOCK HAZARD: If you are accessing the system board or installing optional hardware or memory
devices sometime after setting up the printer, then turn the printer off, and unplug the power cord from the
wall outlet before continuing. If you have any other devices attached to the printer, then turn them off as well,
and unplug any cables going into the printer.

6Push the memory card into the connector until the latches snap into place.
It may require some force to fully seat the card.
7Ensure that each latch fits over the notch on each end of the card.
8Close the system board door.

Printing the printer settings configuration sheet
The printer settings configuration sheet shows the current configuration settings. It also provides instructions on
how to navigate through the configuration menus to select and save new settings. To print the printer settings
configuration sheet:
1Turn the printer off.
2Open the front door.
3Press and hold  as you turn the printer on.
All the lights cycle.

5Close the front door.
