If the router detected or you se\fected PPPoE, enter your PPPoE username 
and password and c\fick Next to continue. 
Note:  Make  sure  to  remo\fe  your  PPPoE  software  from  your  computer.  The 
software is no longer nee\ffded and will not w\ffork through a router.
If  the  router  detected  or  you  se\fected PPTP,  enter  your  PPTP  username, 
password,  and  other  information  supp\fied  by  your  ISP.  C\fick Next  to 
continue. 
If  the  router  detected  or  you  se\fected L2TP,  enter  your  L2TP  username, 
password,  and  other  information  supp\fied  by  your  ISP.  C\fick Next  to 
continue.

If  the  router  detected  or  you  se\fected Static,  enter  the  IP  and  DNS 
settin\bs supp\fied by your ISP. C\fick Next to continue. 
For  both  the  2.4GHz  and  5GHz  se\bments,  create  a  wire\fess  network  a 
name (SSID) usin\b up to 32 characters.
Create a wire\fess security passphrase or key (between 8-63 characters).  
Your  wire\fess  c\fients  wi\f\f  need  to  have  this  passphrase  or  key  entered 
to be ab\fe to connect to your wire\fess network.
C\fick Next to continue.
In order to secure your router, p\fease enter a new password. Check the 
Enab\fe Graphica\f Authentication box to enab\fe CAPTCHA authentication 
for added security. C\fick Next to continue.

Se\fect  your  time  zone  from  the  drop-down  menu  and  c\fick Next  to 
continue. 
The  Setup  Comp\fete  window  wi\f\f  disp\fay  your  wire\fess  settin\bs.  C\fick 
Save.and.Connect to continue.
If you want to create a bookmark to the router, c\fick \fK. C\fick Cance\b if 
you do not want to create a bookmark.
If  you  c\ficked Yes,  a  window  may  appear  (dependin\b  on  what  web 
browser you are usin\b) to create a bookmark.

To use the myd\fink service (myd\fink.com or the myd\fink Lite app), you 
must have an account. Se\fect if you do have a myd\fink account or if you 
need to create one. C\fick Next to continue.
If you do not want to re\bister at this time, c\fick Cance\b.
If you c\ficked Yes, enter your myd\fink account name (emai\f address) and 
password. C\fick Login to re\bister your router.
If  you  c\ficked No,  fi\f\f  out  the  requested  information  and  c\fick Next  to 
create your myd\fink account.
Once your account information is entered, c\fick Login.

The myd\fink App wi\f\f a\f\fow you to receive notices, browse network 
users,  and  confi\bure  your  router  from  an  iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch 
(iOS 3.0 or hi\bher),\u Android device (1.6 or hi\bher).
To down\foad the "myd\fink \fite" app, visit the App\fe Store, Android 
Market or http://myd\bink.com/Lite. 
PC and Mac users can use the myd\fink porta\f at http://myd\bink.com.

QRS Mobile App
D-Link offers an app for your iPad, iPod Touch, or iPhone (iOS 4.3 or hi\u\bher) to insta\f\f and confi\bure your router. 
Step.1
From  your  iPad,  Touch,  or  iPhone,  \bo  to  the  iTunes  Store  and 
search for ‘D-Link’. Se\fect QRS.Mobi\be and then down\foad it.
You may a\fso scan this code to down\foad.
Step.2
Once your app is insta\f\fed, you may now confi\bure your router. 
Connect to the router wire\fess\fy by \boin\b to your wire\fess uti\fity 
on  your  device.  Scan  for  the  wire\fess  network  name  (SSID)  as 
\fisted  on  the  supp\fied  info  card.  Se\fect  and  then  enter  your 
security password (Wi-Fi Password).
Step.3
Once you connect to the router, \faunch the QRS mobi\fe app and 
it wi\f\f \buide you throu\bh the insta\f\fation of your router.

1. Insert your USB flash drive into DIR-826L.
2. Scan the bar code to down\foad the SharePort Mobile APP from the app 
store to your iPhone or iPad.

3. From your iOS mobi\fe devi\uce, c\fick Settings. 
The SharePort Mobi\fe app wi\f\f a\f\fow you to access fi\fes from a USB thumb drive that is p\fu\b\bed into your router. You must enab\fe fi\fe sharin\b from 
the Setup > Storage pa\be (refer to pa\be 53) for this app to work proper\fy.

4. C\fick Wi-Fi, se\fect  the  wire\fess  network  (SSID)  that  you  created  in  the 
setup and then enter your Wi-Fi password.
5. Once connected, c\fick on the SharePort Mobile icon.
6. The fo\f\fowin\b screen wi\f\f appear.

7. C\fick on Settings icon \focated on the ri\bht top corner of the screen. C\fick 
Edit to enter your User Name and Password. Once you finish, c\fick Done 
to continue.
8. For the Movie section, c\fick the movie icon to p\fay your movie from your 
USB flash drive.
9. For the Music section, c\fick the music icon to p\fay your music from your 
USB flash drive.

10. For  the  Photo  section,  c\fick  the  Photo  icon  to  view  your  photos  from 
your USB flash drive.
11. For the Fi\fes section, c\fick on the Fi\fes icon to view your fi\fes from your 
USB flash drive.
12. For the Fo\fder section, c\fick the fo\fder icon to view your fo\fders 
from your USB flash drive.
