CAUTION: When replacing the RJ Jacks & Infrared board, ensure that the fpc cable is firmly pressed to the computers plastics. There is a possibility that one of the PMCIA cage screws can damage the cable.

NOTE: The two screws on the PCMCIA cage are phillips head screws Next Step

There are a total of two short metal clips (one is slightly bigger than the other). You might find one or both clips loose as you disassemble the computer. They must be placed in the appropriate location to ensure that the MultiBay will be grounded. Return to Removal & Replacement Procedures.
