Slide and hold the battery release latch 1 toward the back of the computer (Figure 5-2). c. Use the notch in the battery bay to slide the battery pack out of the battery bay 2. d. Insert a paper clip or similar thin metal rod into the manual release hole on the front bezel of the optical drive 1 (Figure 5-5). Press firmly. e. The computer feet are included in the Miscellaneous Plastics/Hardware Kit, spare part number 285541-001. The computer feet attach to the base enclosure as illustrated in Figure 5-9. Figure 5-9.
