Press the Center Select key [SEND]. INBOXWhen the Inbox View is set to Time, all messages are managed separately in Inbox and Sent folders. Contact is the default setting. This option appears when the Inbox View is set to Time. 1. Press the Left Soft key C [Message], select Inbox and press the Center Select key [ OK ]. 2. Se lect a message and press the Center Select key [OPEN]. To delete a message, press the Left Soft key C [Erase] and press the Center Select key [ O K ] to select Yes. With the message opened, press the Right Soft key D [Options] to access the following options.• Play Again: Play a received picture or voice message. • Erase: Erase an inbox message. • Reply w. Copy: Reply with the original message included. • Forward: Forward the message. • Save Picture (MMS Picture): Save a picture to the My Pictures folder. • Save Video (MMS Video): Save a video to the My Videos folder. • Save As Ringtone (MMS Sound): Save a sound to the My Ringtones folder. • Save Sound (MMS Sound): Save a sound to the My Sounds folder. • Save Objects (EMS Save Objects): Save a graphic, sound, name card. • Save Name Card: Save a name card to the contacts. • Save As Quick Text: Save the text in received msg to Quick Text. • Lock/Unlock: Lock or unlock the message. • Add To Contacts: Save a number to contacts. • Extract Addresses: Extract all phone numbers, Email addresses and URLs from the received message. • Text to Speech: Read out the text message. • Message Info: Show received TXT, Picture, Video, or Voice message information. EMERGENCY (CMAS) ALERT MESSAGES • Em ergency (CMAS) Alert text is displayed on receipt regardless on the TXT Auto View settings. • If there are unread CMAS messages, appropriate CMAS message pending icon will be displayed on the system status bar. MESSAGESWhen the Inbox View is set to Contact, all messages sent to or received from a contact are managed in the combined messages folder. 1. Press the Center Select key [Menu], select Messaging and press the Center Select key [ OK ]. 2. Se lect Messages and press the Center Select key [ O K]. 3. Se lect the contact name to view and press the Center Select key [ O K]. The latest message will be shown. 4. Pr ess the Directional key B right to view the next message. 5. Wi th the message opened, press the Right Soft key D [Options] to access the following options. • Forward: Forward the TXT, Picture, Video or Voice message. • Lock/Unlock: Locks or unlock the TXT, Picture, Video or Voice message. • Save as Quick Text: Save the text as quick text. • Add To Contacts: Save the number to contacts. • Message Info: Show received and sent TXT, Picture, Video, or Voice message information. To delete a message, press the Left Soft key C [Erase] and press the Center Select key [ OK ] to select Yes. 4. Pr ess the Right Soft key D [Options] to access the following options.• Send: Send a selected message. • Lock/Unlock: Locks or unlock the TXT, Picture, Video, or Voice message. • Add To Contacts: Save number to contacts. • Erase Drafts: Erase all drafts messages. VOICEMAILNew voicemail alerts are sent by your network. These messages indicate how many new and urgent voicemails are in your voicemail box. WhEN A NEW VOICEMAIL ARRIVESWhen you receive a new voicemail message you’ll hear a sound and a Voicemail icon appears in the display. 1. Select Listen Now and press the Center Select key [ O K] to access your voicemail box. 2. Se lect Listen Later and press the Center Select key [ O K] to ignore the voicemail message and return to idle mode. TO ACCESS YOUR VOICE MAILBOX 1. To dial your voicemail box directly, press K, 8, 6 and then press the SEND key G.

Follow the prompts to enter your password and listen to your messages. MOBILE IMMobile IM allows you to enjoy Instant Messaging on your phone. LAUNChING MOBILE IM 1. Pr ess the Center Select key [MENU], select Messaging and press the Center Select key [ OK ]. 2. Se lect Mobile IM and press the Center Select key [ O K]. 3. Wh en you access this application for the first time, an Accept/Decline screen will appear. Select Accept by pressing the Left Soft key C [Accept]. 4. Se lect either AIM, Windows Live or Yahoo!® and press the Center Select key [ O K ]. 5. En ter your Login ID and Password and press the Center Select key [Sign In]. MOBILE EMAIL USING MOBILE EMAILTo read and send e-mail from your e-mail accounts:1. From idle mode, press the Center Select key [MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select key [ O K]. 2. Se lect Mobile Email and then press the Center Select key [ O K]. 3. Se lect the desired option, then press the Center Select key [ O K]. 4. Fo llow the on-screen prompts. SETTINGSThe Settings menu allows you to configure settings for messages sent or received on your phone. To access message settings: 1. Press the Center Select key [MENU], then press Messaging. 2. Pr ess the Left Soft key C [Settings] to display available menus. 3. Se lect one of the following menus, then press the Center Select key [ O K]. INBOX VIEW 1. Se lect Time or Contact, then press the Center Select key [ O K].• Time: Sorts received and sent messages into Inbox and Sent folders by time. • Contact: Groups all received and sent messages by each contact. Contact is the default setting. ENTRY MODEAllows you to set the default Entry Mode for messaging. 1. Select T9 Word, Abc, ABC, 123, or T9 Palabra then press the Center Select key [ OK ]. AUTO SAVE SENT 1. Se lect On, Off, or Prompt, then press the Center Select key [ O K].• On: All sent messages are saved in Sent. • Off: All sent messages are not saved in Sent. • Prompt: The Yes or No dialogue box will be displayed after sending a message. AUTO ERASE INBOXAllows you to set whether Inbox messages are deleted automatically when new messages arrive and Inbox is full. 1. Select On or Off, then press the Center Select key [ O K].• On: The oldest read message will be deleted from the Inbox automatically once full. • Off: The oldest read message will not be deleted automatically from the Inbox once full. MESSAGING FONT SIZEAllows you to set the message font size.1. Select Small, Normal, or Large, then press the Center Select key [ O K]. TXT AUTO VIEW 1. Se lect On or Off, then press the Center Select key [ O K].

MULTIMEDIA AUTO RECEIVE 1. Se lect On or Off, then press the Center Select key [O K].• On: Picture, Video and Voice messages are downloaded automatically. • Off: Picture, Video and Voice messages must be retrieved from the Inbox or by responding to the message prompt. TUTORIALIntroduces the user to the basic concepts and features of the phone functions.1. Select the desired option. 2 . Pr ess the Center Select key [O K] to view the tutorial. VOICEMODE TRAINING Trains the phone to your voice before using Voicemode.1. Read all instructions before starting Voicemode Training. Press the Left Soft key C [ Next ] to read the next page, or press the Right Soft key D [ Back ] to go back to the previous page. 2. Press the Left Soft key C [Next] to begin. 3. Pr ess and hold down the Voice Commands key O while you speak the on- screen text aloud. 4. Re lease the Voice Commands key O when completed the sentence, then the next sentence appears. Press the Left Soft key C [ Save ] to stop and save what you have completed, or press the Right Soft key D [ Back ] to finish the Voicemode Training. QUICk TEXTAllows you to create a new Quick Text or edit the predefined Quick Text.1. To create a new Quick Text, press the Right Soft key D [Options], select New and press the Center Select key [OK]. Enter the new text and press the Center Select key [SAVE]. 2. To edit the predefined Quick Text, select the Quick Text from the list, then press the Center Select key [EDIT]. 3. To change the Quick Text position, press the Right Soft key D [Options], then press Move. Press the Directional key B up or down to scroll to desired position, then press the Center Select key [SAVE]. 4. To erase a saved Quick Text, press the Left Soft key C [Erase]. Select Yes and press the Center Select key [ O K]. EMERGENCY (CMAS) ALERTS Allows you to select the receiving of Emergency Alerts from emergency message server.1. When there is a new emergency alert, a message appears on the phone, then p ress Receive Alerts. 2. To receive additional alerts in addition to Presidential Alerts, mark/unmark additional alerts you want, then press the Left Soft key C [Done].• Extreme Alert/Severe Alert : Imminent Threat to Life and Property. • AMBER Alert : Child Abduction Emergency Alerts. Presidential Alerts are mandatory.3. To set the alert reminder, press Alert Reminder, select Once, Every 2 Minutes, Every 15 Minutes, or Off, and then press the Center Select key [ O K ]. 4. To activate Alert Vibrate, press Alert Vibrate, select On or Off, and then press the Center Select key [ O K]. VOICEMAIL # 1. En ter a new voicemail number or edit the voicemail number then press the Center Select key [ O K]. 2. Pr ess the Left Soft key C [Add], then press 2-Sec Pause or Wait. CALLBAC k #Allows you to use or edit the default callback number so that the recipient can callback or reply.

SIGNATURE Allows you to create a signature that can be automatically inserted at the end of each message. 1. To deactivate Signature function, select None and press the Center Select key [ O K ]. 2. To insert a Signature, select Custom, enter your signature in the text entry field then press the Center Select key [ O K]. DELIVERY RECEIPT Allows you to set delivery receipts for sent messages.1. Select On or Off, then press the Center Select key [ O K].• On: Request to receive the delivery acknowledgement. • Off: Do not request to receive the delivery acknowledgement. OPTIONSTo erase all messages stored in your Message or Drafts folders:1. From idle mode, press the Center Select key [MENU], select Messaging, then press the Center Select key [ O K]. 2. Pr ess the Right Soft key D[Options] to access the following options:• Erase Sent/Received: Allows you to delete unlocked messages stored in Sent/Received. • Erase Drafts: Allows you to delete unlocked messages stored in Drafts. • Erase All Messages: Allows you to delete unlocked messages stored in your phone. RECENT CALLSThe Recent Calls menu is a list of the last phone numbers or Contact entries for calls you placed, accepted, missed or blocked. It is continually updated as new numbers are added to the beginning of the list and the oldest entries are removed from the bottom of the list. MISSEDDisplays information about the 90 most recently missed calls. 1. Press the Center Select key [MENU], select Recent Calls and press the Center Select key [ OK ]. Select Missed and press the Center Select key [ O K]. 2. Se lect an entry and press the Center Select key [OPEN] to view the entry. 3. Pr ess the Right Soft key D [Options] to access the following options:• Save to Contacts: Store the phone number in your Contacts. • Save to PTT Contacts: Store the phone number in your PTT Contacts. If save doesn’t appear, that entry is already in your Contacts list. • Details: Displays details about the caller if entered in Contacts. • Erase: Erase a call listing. • Lock/Unlock: To lock or unlock a call listing. • Erase All: Erase all the call listing. • View Timers: Display usage time.4. Pr ess the Left Soft key C [Reset] to reset the highlighted timer. 4. Pr ess the Right Soft key D [Reset All] to reset all timers. Lifetime Calls and Lifetime Data Counter cannot be reset to the default setting value. MEDIA CENTERYour phone provides a unique feature - Media Center - that enables you to download ringtones, wallpapers, games and more from your network to your phone. Please contact your service provider for the availability of these services. APPSTo download tools that can help you navigate to entertainment, sports, restaurants, and provide you with up-to-date weather information: 1. From idle mode, press the Center Select key [MENU], select Media Center and press the Center Select key [OK]. Select Apps and press the Center Select key [OK]. Or press the Center Select key [ MENU ], select Apps and press the Center Select key [OK ]. 2. Select SHOP APPS and press the Center Select key [OK]. 3. Fo llow the on-screen prompts. M OBILE WEBFind the news you want or let it come to you. Now, a few seconds is all it takes to get up-to-the-minute information. STARTING ThE MOBILE WEB1. From idle mode, press the Center Select key [MENU], select Mobile Web, and press the Center Select key [OK]. 2. Th e browser launches. Or you can access Mobile Web through Media Center. PICTURE & VIDEO USING V CAST VIDEOSBy accessing to V CAST Videos, you can watch your favorite television shows while on the go. Please contact your service provider for the availability of service. USING MY PICTURESIn My Pictures you can view all the pictures you have taken, send pictures to the Online Album, delete images and access additional picture options. 1. Press the Center Select key [MENU], select Media Center and press the Center Select key [ O K]. 2. Se lect Picture & Video and press the Center Select key [ O K]. 3. Se lect My Pictures and press the Center Select key [ O K]. 4. Se lect the desired image then press the Center Select key [VIEW] to display the enlarged image. 5. You can send Via Bluetooth or Via Email . • Set As: Assigns the selected picture as Wallpaper or Picture ID. • Full View: Displays the full viewing image. • Rotate: Use the Left Soft key C [ Rotate(L) ] or Right Soft key D [Rotate(R) ]. • Zoom: Use the Left Soft key C [ Zoom- ] or Right Soft key D [Zoom+ ] to zoom in/ out the picture. • Resize: Resizes the selected picture. • Crop: Crops the selected picture in a different size. • Rename: Renames the selected picture. • Move: Moves the selected picture to the card memory. • Lock/Unlock: Locks/unlocks the selected picture. • File Info: Displays information about the selected picture.To erase the picture: 1.
