To configure print settings for all images
1.In the PLAY mode, press [MENU].
2.Select the “PLAY” tab, select “DPOF”, and
then press [].
3.Use [] and [] to select “All images”, and
then press [].
4.Use [] and [] to
specify the number of
copies.
•You can specify up to 99
for the number of copies.
Specify 00 if you do not
want to have the image

5.To turn on date stamping for the prints, press

 IMPORTANT! 
•DPOF settings are not cleared automatically after
printing is complete. This means that if you perform
another printing operation without clearing DPOF
settings, printing will be performed in accordance
with the last settings you configured. If you want to
prevent this from happening, perform the procedure
under “To configure print settings for all images”
(page 181) and change the number of copies to “00”.
After that, you can configure new DPOF settings as
required.

Using PictBridge or USB DIRECT-PRINT
You can connect the camera
directly to a printer that supports
PictBridge or USB DIRECT-PRINT,
and perform image selection and
printing using the camera monitor
screen and controls. DPOF support
(page 179) also lets you specify
which images you want to print and
how many copies of each should be
printed.

 Connecting the Camera to Your Printer
1.Check the battery level indicator to make sure
that the battery is fully charged, and then
press the power button to turn off the camera.

“Busy.... Please wait...” on the monitor screen. The
message will disappear after a short while, even

will cause the message to reappear.

Date Printing
Any one of the procedures described below can be used to
include the recording date in image prints. Correct date
printing requires that the current date be set on the camera
before the image is recorded.

VIEWING IMAGES ON A COMPUTER
After establishing a USB connection between the camera
and your computer, you can use your computer to view
images in file memory and copy images to your computer’s
hard disk or other storage media. In order to do this, you
first need to install the USB driver located on the CD-ROM
that comes bundled with the camera onto your computer.
Note that the procedure you need to perform depends on
whether you are using computer running under Windows...

• If battery goes low during printing, printing may stop
and the camera may shut down.
• If you plan to transfer file data from the camera’s
built-in memory to your computer, make sure there is
