    Choose [Select Images & Qty.].
    zPress the n button to choose [Select 
    Images & Qty.] in the  2 tab, then press 
    the  m button.
    Choose an image.
    zPress the qr  buttons to choose an image, 
    then press the  m button.
    XYou will be able to set the number of print 
    copies.
    zIf you choose images in [Index],   
    appears on the screen. Press the  m 
    button again to deselect the image.   will 
    disappear.
    Set the number of prints.
    zPress the op  buttons to set the number 
    of prints (maximum 99).
    zRepeat Steps 2 and 3 to choose other 
    images and the number of prints for each.
    zYou cannot set the number of copies for 
    index prints. You can only choose which 
    images to print (as shown in Step 2).
    zPress the n  button to complete the 
    setting and restore the menu screen.
    • With [Index] chosen, the [Date] and [File No.] options cannot be set to 
    [On] at the same time.
    • The date will be printed in the style set in the [Date/Time] function in the 
    3  tab, which can be chosen after you press the  n button (p. 20).

    Choose [Select Range].
    zFollow Step 1 on p. 151 to choose [Select 
    Range], then press the m button.
    Choose images.

    images.

    zPress the op buttons to choose [Order], 
    then press the  m button.
    Choose [Select All Images].

    zPress the qr  buttons to choose [OK], then

    •When there are images added to the print list 
    (pp. 149 – 152), the screen on the left will appear 
    when you connect the camera to a PictBridge 
    compliant printer. Press the  op buttons to 
    choose [Print now], then press the  m button to 
    easily print images added to the print list.
    • If you stop the printer during printing and start 
    again, it will start from the next print.

    When you choose images on a memory card to use in Photobooks (max. 
    998 images) and use the included software to transfer them to a computer, 
    the chosen images will be copied into a dedicated folder. This function is 
    useful for ordering Photobooks online and for printing Photobooks on a 
    printer.
    Choose [Photobook Set-up].
    zPress the m button to choose [Photobook 
    Set-up] in the 1  tab, then press the 
    n  button.
    Complete the selection method.
    zPress the op  buttons to choose a 
    selection method, then press the  m 
    button.
    zPress the n  button to restore the 
    menu screen.
    Choose [Select].
    zFollow Step 2 above to choose [Select], 
    then press the  m button.

     may appear when using a memory card with print settings set by a 
    different camera. If you change the se ttings using this camera, all the 
    previous settings may be overwritten.
    For details on printing images downloaded to a computer, refer to the 
    Software Guide  or the user guide included with your printer.

    zPress the qr buttons to choose an image,

    X will appear on the screen.zPress the  m button again to deselect the 
    image, and   will disappear.
    zTo choose additional images, repeat the 
    above procedure.
    zPress the n  button to complete the

    Choose [Select All Images].

    All Images], then press the  m button.

    Customizing CameraSettings
    You can customize various settings to  suit your shooting preferences.
    The first part of this chapter ex plains convenient and commonly used 
    functions. The latter part expl ains how to change shooting and 
    playback settings to suit your purposes.

    You can customize convenient and commonly used functions in the 3 tab 
    (p. 45).
    You can change each of the camera’s operation sounds.
    zChoose [Sound Options], then press the 
    m  button.
    zPress the op buttons to choose a menu 
    item.
    zPress the qr  buttons to choose an option.
    When you choose an item in the FUNC. menu (p. 44) or MENU (p. 45), a 
    description of the function (hints and tips) is displayed. You can turn off this 
    function.
    zChoose [Hints & Tips], then press the  qr 
    buttons to choose [Off].

    Perform low level formatting when [Memory card error] appears, the camera 
    does not operate properly, you think that the recording/reading speed of a 
    memory card has dropped, the continuous shooting speed slows down, or 
    recording suddenly stops while shooting a movie. As you cannot retrieve the 
    erased data, exercise adequate caution before formatting the memory card.
    Choose [Low Level Format].
    zChoose [Format], then press the m 
    button.
    zPress the op  buttons to choose [Low 
    Level Format], then press the  qr buttons 
    to display  .
    zPress the opqr  buttons to choose [OK], 
    then press the  m button.
    Start the low level format.
    zPress the op  buttons to choose [OK], 
    then press the  m button.
    XLow level formatting starts.XWhen low level formatting ends, [Memory 
    card formatting complete] will appear on 
    the screen.
    Complete the low level format.
    zPress the m  button.
    Low Level Me mory Card Formatting
    •Low level formatting may take longer than standard formatting (p. 23), 
    since all recorded data is erased.
    • You can stop a low level format of a memory card by choosing [Stop]. 
    When stopping low level formatting,  the data will be erased but the 
    memory card can be used without problem.

    You can change the start-up screen that appears when you turn on the 
    camera.
    zChoose [Start-up Image], then press the 
    m button.
    zPress the qr  buttons to choose an option.
    Registering Recorded Images as the Start-up Screen
    Enter Playback mode.
    zPress the 1 button.
    Choose [Start-up Image].
    zChoose [Start-up Image], then press the 
    m button.
    zPress the qr  buttons to choose [2], then 
    press the  m button.
    Choose an image.
    zPress the qr  buttons to choose [OK], then 
    press the  m button to complete 
    registration.

    You can set recorded images, and use the 
    included software to change the images.
    Any previously registered start-up image will be overwritten when
