About this Manual 14 Setting the Time CodeThe camcorder generates a time code signal and embeds it in your recordings. You can output the time code signal from the HDMI OUT terminal (A172). The time code will appear in video output from the HDMI OUT terminal. For 59.94 Hz recordings, when using a frame rate other than 23.98P, you can also select between a drop frame and non-drop frame time code.
