Under the My Menu tab, you can register up to six menu options and 
Custom Functions whose settings you change frequently.

When you press the  button 
while the camera is ready to shoot, you 
can display [ Displays camera settings ], 
[Electronic level ] (p.60), and [Displays 
shooting functions ] (p.337).
Under the [53] tab, [z  button display 
options] enables you to se lect the options 
displayed when the  button is 
pressed.

B Button Functions
 Pressing the < Q> button enables Quick Control of the shooting 
settings (p.49).
  If you press the < m>, , , or  button, 
the respective setting screen will appear on the LCD monitor and 
you can turn the < 6> or  dial to set the function. You can also 
select the AF point with < 9>.

You can check the battery’s condition on the LCD monitor. Each Battery 
Pack LP-E6 has a unique serial number, and you can register multiple 
battery packs to the camera. When you use this feature, you can check 
the registered battery pack’s remain ing capacity and operation history.
Select [Battery info.].
 Under the [ 53] tab, select [ Battery 
info. ], then press < 0>.

3 Checking the Battery Information
You can register up to six LP-E6 battery packs to the camera. To 
register multiple battery packs to  the camera, do the procedure below 
for each battery pack.
1Press the  button.
 With the battery info. screen 
displayed, press the < B> button.
X The battery history screen will 
appear.
X If the battery has not been registered, 
it will be grayed out.
2Select [Register].
  Select [Register ], then press .
X The confirmation dialog will appear.

Affixing a serial number label onto all the registered Battery Pack LP-E6’s makes it convenient.
1Write the serial number on a 
label.
 Write the serial number displayed on 
the battery history screen on a 
commercially-available label approx. 
25 mm x 15 mm / 1.0 in. x 0.6 in. in 
size.
2Take out the battery and affix the
