Glossary 221 F Tone A form of dialling on the telephone line used for Touch Tone telephones. Transmission The process of sending faxes over the telephone lines from your machine to the receiving fax machine. User Settings List A printed report that shows the current settings of the machine. Xmit Report (Transmission Verification Report) A listing for each transmission, that shows its date, time and number.
