    If a problem should occur
    If sm oke or strange odors arise, co ntinued use could result in f ire or electr icalshock. In such ca se, imme diately turn off the power switch and thendisconnect the p ower plug from the power outlet. After making sure that
    the sm oke or odor has stopp ed, contact your dealer for repairs. Neverattempt to make repairs yourself because it could result in serious injury . 
    Do not use this projector if there is  no image or sound, or if the sound isdistorted.  Con ti nued use could result in fire or elec trical shock. In suchcase, im mediately turn off the power s wi tch; disconnect the power plugfrom the power outlet and contact your dealer. 
    If w ater gets inside of  the projector,  immediately turn off the power switch,
    disconnect the power plug from the power outlet and contact
    your dealer. 
    Do
     not  inst all on a n un stable surface.
    Do not in stall this projec tor on an un stable surfacesuch as a wobbly stand or inc line be cause this could
    result in  the projector fa lling and could cause  injury. 
    Do
     not open the cabinet.
    Never open the cabinet. There is high voltage i nsidewhich can cause electrical  shock. 
    Do not modify.
    Do not modify this projector because this could result in fire or electrical shock.
    Do not use in the bathroom or near water.
    Do not expose this unit to rain or use near water… for example, in the 
    bathroom, a wet basement, near a swimming pool, etc… 
    Do not insert objects into the Projector. 
    Do not insert metal objects through the ventilation openings, etc., of thisprojector  or  drop  such  objects  inside  because  this  could  result  in  fire ,
    damage  o r electrical shock. 
    If a foreign object should enter this projector, immediately turn off
    the power switch, disconnect the power plug from the power outlet
    and contact your dealer.
    Continued use could result in fire or electrical shock. Use special caution
    in  household and where 
    children are present.

    If the pr ojector should fall, re sulting in damage to the  cabinet, immediately
    tur
    n off the power sw itch, disconnect the power plug from the  power outlet
    and contact your de aler. 
    Con ti nued use could result in fire or electrical shoc k. 
    D o not place t his pro jector in a cont ainer containing liq uid. Do not
    plac
    e  flower va ses, flowe rpots, cups, co smetics, liquids such as
    w ater, etc., on top of this projector.
    Do not us e an y power cable except t hose supplied with the
    projec tor. 
    Th
    e  use  of any other po wer cable  could result in fire or electrical
    shock. 
    D o not shine the laser beam  onto yourself or other persons.
    The la ser pointer function of projec tor remote c ontrol emits class Ⅱ laser
    beam.Do not look directly into the laser beam  or direct the laser beam 
    at other people. Vision can be impaired if the laser beam enters the eyes. 
    Especially pay attention if children are present .
    High temperatures are generated when the lamp is lit,  so do not
    place objects in front of the lens.

    CAUTION
    Placing hea vy objects on top of this  pro jector cou ld result in lossof bala nce or falling and ca use personal injury or  damage  the
    proj ector. 
    Do
     n ot block the ventilation  openings.
    Do not block the ventilation openin gs of this pro jector. 
    Blocking v entilation could lead to  int ernal over heating which
    cou
    ld re sult in fire. 
    Do not place this projector on its  side during  use or push it  into a small,
    poorly  ventilated lo cation.
    Do  n ot pla ce  t his p r oje c t or on a ca rpet or b e dding or  c over it with ata blecloth, etc. A lso, when insta lling this p rojector, make sure  the  vent ilation
    ope nings are at least 30cm(12in)  clea ra nce around the pr oje ctor. 
    Care and maintena nce.
    For safety purposes, disconnect the power plug  from the power ou tlet
    before performing any maintenance on this projector.
    Batteryusage.
    Repl ace  the batteries with t he same type  only.
    Do not mix old and new batteries; this could result in fire orpersonal injury due to batt ery cr acking or leakage. 
    Make sure the plus and  minus terminals are c orrectly alignedwhen lo ading the batteries.
    Incor rect loading could result in pe rsonal injury or co ntamination ofthe s u r r o u n dings due to ba t t e ry c r ac king or leakage. 
    Have the proj ector interior cleaned  regu larly.
    Co
    n tact your dealer to arrange for the service.
    Accu
    mu lations of  dust inside the  project or can resu lt in fire or malfunction if not clea ned for an extended period. 
    Ask your  dealer for  details about internal cleaning.

    D o not handle  t he power cord roughly. Keep the po wer cord away

    om  heater s;
    The heat could melt the power cord and cause fire or electrical shock. 
    D o not touch the power plug with wet hand s;
    This could result in electrical shock. 
    Whe
    n disco nnecting the po wer plug, do not pull on the po wer cord.
    This could damage the power cord and cause fire or electrical shock. 
    Alw ays grip the plug when disconnecting. 
    Wh en the projector is not  to be used for an ex tended perio d.

    tra v el,  e tc., disco nnect the power plug from the  p ower o utlet and
