51 SETTING DISPLAY MAIN MENU DISPLAY 1. Press the MENU BUTTON and the MAIN MENU DISPLAY dialog box will appear. 2. 52 MAIN MENU DISPLAY SETTING DISPLAY The Lamp age function is designed to reset the lamp replacement monitor timer. When replacing the lamp, reset the lamp replacement monitor timer by using this function. NOTE:Do not reset the LAMP REPLACEMENT MONITOR TIMER, except after the lamp is replaced. 1. 53 The removable air filter prevents dust from accumulating on the surface of the projection lens and projection mirror. Should the air filter become clogged with dust particles, it will reduce the cooling fans effectiveness and may result in internal heat build up and reduce the life of the projector. 54 Follow these steps to replace the lamp assembly. 1. Turn off the projector and allow the projector to cool thoroughly. 2. Disconnect the AC cord from the projector. 3. Remove 2 screws with a screwdriver and remove the lamp cover. 4. Remove 2 screws with a screwdriver and pull out the lamp assembly by grasping the handle. 5. Replace the lamp assembly. 6. Try these Solutions: lPlug the projector into an AC outlet. lTurn the MAIN ON/OFF switch to ON. lPress the POWER ON/OFF switch to ON. lBe sure the READY INDICATOR light is ON. lWait one minute after the projector is turned OFF before turning the projector back on.
