    							Your device might be network locked which allows your device to make a mobile network connection with only your current 
    service provider. If you plan to travel internationally and you want to use a SIM card from another service provider, you 
    might need to enter an unlock code.Tip: To see the current service provider associated with your device, on the home screen, swipe down from the top of the 
    screen. Tap 
     Settings > About. In the Category drop-down list, tap SIM Card.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Security and Privacy > SIM Card.
    3.In the Phone Network Lock section, tap a locked item.
    4.When prompted, enter the unlock code.
    CAUTION: For security reasons, each unlock code can only be entered incorrectly 10 times. If you exceed the number of 
    allowed attempts to enter an unlock code, your SIM card will allow emergency calls only. For assistance, contact your 
    service provider.
    Change or remove your device password

    You can display text on the screen of your BlackBerry device when the device is locked. For example, you can display a 
    favorite quote, emergency contact information, or your own contact information so that if you lose your device, anyone who

    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Security and Privacy > Lock Screen.
    3.In the Lock Screen Message fields, type the text.
    To delete the text that appears on the screen when your device is locked, delete the text in the Lock Screen Message 
    fields.

    Restrict or limit access to features and content
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Security and Privacy > Parental Controls.
    3.Turn on the Parental Controls switch.
    4.Enter the Parental Controls password.

    Import a certificate from your computer
    1.Do one of the following:
    
    						
    							About smart cards
    You can use a smart card and the password for your BlackBerry device or work space to unlock your device. You can use 
    smart card certificates to send S/MIME-protected messages.
    Smart cards store certificates and private keys. You can import certificates from a smart card to your device by using an  external smart card reader or a microSD smart card. Private key operations such as signing and decryption use the smart 
    card. Public key operations such as verification and encryption use the public certificates on your device.
    Use two-factor authentication
    Two-factor authentication lets you use a smart card and the password for your BlackBerry device or work space to unlock 
    your device.
    The Smart Password Entry feature is designed to make it easier for you to enter your passwords on your device. Your device 
    can remember the format of the password you type in a password field and display the appropriate numeric or  alphanumeric keyboard on the screen. 
    Also, if the password for your device or work space and the password for your smart 
    card are the same, your device can enter the password for your smart card when you type the password for your device or  work space.
    1.On the home screen, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  Settings > Security and Privacy > Device Password > Authenticator Settings.
    3.To set your device to use a smart card to unlock your device or your work space, in the Smart Card User 
    Authenticator
     drop-down list, tap Device or Work.
    4.Do any of the following:
    
    						
    							Store your smart card password on your device

    							Store password records in the cloud

    							Create a password record by sharing a web address or

    1.Browse to a website or open an application and select the text you want to share with Password Keeper.
    2.Tap  > .
    3.Tap Password Keeper.
    4.Add any additional information to your new record.
    5.Tap Save.
    Change the Password Keeper password
    1.In the Password Keeper app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
    2.Tap  > Change Password Keeper Password.
    3.Complete the instructions on the screen.
    Lock Password Keeper
    1.In the Password Keeper app, swipe down from the top of the screen.
