GettinG St ArteD • Remove packin\f materials and any stickers. • Remove the slide rack, broil rack and bake pan/drip tray from oven. • Wash in sudsy water, rinse and dry w\,ith a cloth or paper towel. • Replace slide rack in oven. • Select a location for the unit. do not place unit under cabinets or too close to the wall to allow heat to flow without dama\fin\f \,counter space. SLiDe rACK poSitionS There are four positions for the slide rack (C). It can be inserted in either the u\,pper or lower slot. It can also be inverted for two additional posit\,ions. Turn cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Bake/Conv Bake. 3. Turn timer ( ) selector knob pasT 20 an\,d then turn back o\,r forward to desired bakin\f time includi\,n\f preheat time. For Conve\ftion Cooking Press the convection cookin\f OFF/On (O/I) switch to the On (I) position. Convection uses a fan to circulate heat evenly for consistently better cookin\f. t o Broil note: Preheat oven for 5 minutes. 1. Turn temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob to Toast/Broil. 2. Turn cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Broil. 3. Turn timer ( ) selector knob past 20 and then turn\, back or forward to desired broilin\f time. Select "Stay On", if you want to control cookin\f time yourself. t o t oast 1. Turn temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob to Toast/Broil ( / Broil). 2. Turn cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Toast ( ). 3. Turn toast shade ( ) selector knob pass 20 and then turn\, back to desired toast shade. Keep War\b 1. Turn temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob to 150˚ F / 65˚ C. 2. Turn cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Warm. 3. Turn timer ( ) selector knob past 20 and then turn\, back or forward to desired warmin\f time. to AStinG i\bportant: the oven top and side surfa\fes get hot. It is not necessary to preheat the oven for toastin\f. i\bportant: You \bust set the toast shade (iCon) sele\ftor knob as desired for the oven to fun\ftion. 1. Make sure temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob is set to the Toast/Broil (/ Broil) / Broil) position. 2. Open oven door. Insert the slide\, rack into the bottom rack\bslot usin\f the rack\bup position (D). note: See slide rack position 3 (illustration C). 3. Place the bread directly on the slide rack and close the door. 4. Turn the cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to the Toast ( ) position. 5. Turn toast shade ( ) selector knob past 20 and then turn back to desired toast shade. note: For best results, select the medium set\,tin\f for your first cycle, then adjust li\fhter or darker to suit your taste. The On indicator li\fht comes on and stays on durin\f the toastin\f cycle. When toastin\f is done, the s\,i\fnal bell sounds, \,the oven automatically shuts off and th\,e On indicator li\fht \foes off. 6. Open oven door and usin\f o\,ven mitt or pot hol\,der, slide out rack to remove toast.D enGLiSH
8i\bportant: Always use an oven \bitt or pot holder\e to re\bove food fro\b the oven as the door and th\ee slide ra\fk will be hot (e). note: You must turn off (0) the \,toast shade selector if you want to discontinue toastin\f. tip: When makin\f more toast immediately after one toastin\f cycle, set the toast shade selector to a sli\fhtly li\fhter settin\f to \fet the same results. BAKinG i\bportant: the oven top and side surfa\fes get hot. note: For best results, when bakin\f\,, always preheat the oven for 8 minutes at the desired temperature settin\f. 1. Open oven door. 2. Insert the slide r\,ack into the oven. i\bportant: For even baking, sele\ft slide ra\fk position 2 or 3 \e(illustration C). 3. Turn the temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob to the desired temperature settin\f. 4. Turn cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Bake/Conv Bake. i\bportant: You \bust set the ti\ber (iCon) or sele\ft "Stay on" for the oven to fun\ftion. 5. Turn timer ( ) selector knob past 20 and then turn\, back or forward to desired bakin\f time includin\f preheat time. tip: Set the timer ( ) selector knob to the "Stay On" settin\f if y\,ou want to control cookin\f time yourself or need to cook your food lon\fer than 60 minut\,es. • The On indicator li\fht comes on and stays on durin\f bakin\,\f cycle. • The heatin\f elements cycle on and off to maintain the temperature. 6. You can cook your food two ways: • In the bake pan placed on the slide rack (Fa), OR • directly on the broil rack usin\f the bake pan as a drip tr\,ay underneath (Fb). e FbFa or

Place your food in the oven for cookin\f. note: Be sure the top ed\fe of the food or container is at least 1½” (3.81 cm) away\, from the upper heatin\f e\,lements. i\bportant: Food should not extend beyond the edge(s) of th\ee bake pan/drip tray to avoid drippings fro\b falling onto the heating ele\bents. 8. Close oven door. 9. For convection cookin\f, turn the convection ( / COnv) OFF/On (O/I) switch to the On (I) position. You will hear the f\,an runnin\f durin\f t\,he cookin\f cycle. i\bportant: When baking usi\eng \fonve\ftion, the te\bperature sele\fted should be 25 degrees lower than the re\fo\b\bended te\bperature for \fonventional \fooking, sin\fe the \fir\fulated air in\freases the average te\bperature in the \favity. 10. The first time you bake an item in this oven, cook accordin\f to recipe or packa\fe instructions and chec\,k at minimum time \,to see if it is don\,e. 11. Once cookin\f cycle is finished: • If the timer was o\,n, the si\fnal bell \,sounds, the On indicator li\fht \foes off and the oven automatically turns off. • If the timer was n\,ot on, turn the T OAST/TIMeR ( ) selector knob from the "Stay On" position t\,o the OFF (0) position. The \,On indicator li\fht \foes off. 12. If you used the convection cookin\f feature, turn the convection ( / COnv) OFF/On (O/I) switch to the OFF (O) position . 13. Open oven door and usin\f o\,ven mitt or pot hol\,der, slide out rack to remove food. i\bportant: Always use an oven \bitt or pot holder\e to re\bove food fro\b the oven as the door and th\ee slide ra\fk will be hot (G).\e BroiLinG note: When broilin\f, preheat oven for 5 minutes. 1. Turn the temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob to Toast/Broil ( / Broil) 2. Turn the cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Broil. i\bportant: You \bust set the ti\ber or sele\ft "Stay on" for the oven to fun\ftion. 3. Place the broil rack on top of the bake pan (H). 5. Broiling Guide note: When broilin\f foods, use the broil rack on top of the bake pan/drip tray. • Preheat oven for 5 minutes. • Turn temperature ( ˚F / ˚C) selector knob to Toast/ Broil ( / Broil). • Turn cookin\f function (MOde) selector knob to Broil. • Set the timer ( ) selector knob to desired broilin\f time.
