Optimizing the image
Selecting a picture mode
The projector is preset with several predefined picture 
modes so that you can choose one to suit your 
operating environment and input signal picture type.
To select an operation mode that suits your need, you 
can follow one of the following steps.
•Press MODE/ENTER on the remote control or 
projector repeatedly until your desired mode is 
selected.
•Go to the PICTURE > Picture Mode menu and press  /  to select a desired mode.

Using Wall Color
In the situation where you are projecting onto a colored surface such as a painted wall which 
may not be white, the Wall Color feature can help correct the projected picture’s color to 
prevent possible color difference between the source and projected pictures.
To use this function, go to the DISPLAY > Wall Color menu and press  /  to select a 
color which is the closest to the color of the projection surface. There are several

*About color temperatures:
There are many different shades that are considered to be white for various purposes. One 
of the common methods of representing white color is known as the “color temperature”. A 
white color with a low color temperature appears to be reddish white. A white color with a 
high color temperature appears to have more blue in it.

Saturation is the amount of that color in a video picture. Lower settings produce less 
saturated colors; a setting of “0” removes that color from the image entirely. If the 
saturation is too high, that color will be overpowering and unrealistic.

Operation 35 Press FREEZE on the remote control to freeze the image. The word 
FREEZE will display in the screen. To release the function, press any 
key on the projector or remote control.
Even if an image is frozen on the screen, the pictures are running on 
the video or other device. If the connected devices have active audio 
output, you will still hear the audio even though the image is frozen on 
screen.

2. Highlight Volume and select a desired 
sound level.
Turning off the Power on/off ring tone
To turn off the ring tone:
1. Repeat steps 1-2 in Muting the sound section.
2. Highlight Power on/off Ring Tone and select Off.
The only way to change Power on/off ring tone is setting On or Off here. Setting the sound 
mute or changing the sound level will not affect the Power on/off ring tone....

Displaying more than one image source 
simultaneously
Your projector is capable of displaying pictures simultaneously from two input sources, 
which can be used to enhance your presentation in an interesting way. Ensure the signals you 
want to display are correctly connected to the projector.
• Using the OSD menu
1. Press MENU/EXIT and then press  /  until 
the DISPLAY menu is highlighted.
2. Press  to highlight PIP and press MODE/

Controlling the projector through a LAN 
environment
Network Settings allow you to manage the projector from a computer using a web browser 
when the computer and the projector are properly connected to the same local area network.
Configuring the Wired LAN Settings
If you are in a DHCP environment:
1. Take a RJ45 cable and connect one end to the LAN input jack of the projector and the 
other end to the RJ45 port.
