44 Maintenance Maintenance Care of the projector Your projector needs little maintenance. The only thing you have to do on a regular basis is keep the lens clean. Never remove any parts of the projector except the la mp. Contact your dealer or local customer service center if the projector fails to operate as expected. 45 Maintenance Lamp information Getting to know the lamp hour When the projector is in operation, the duration (in hours) of lamp usage is automatically calculated by the built-in timer. Total (equivalent) lamp hour = 2.0 x (hours used in Normal mode) + 1.4 x (hours used in Economic mode) + 1.0 x (hours used in SmartEco mode) To obtain the lamp hour information: 1. 46 Maintenance Setting Auto Off This function allows the projector to turn off automa tically if no input source is detected after a set period of time. 1. Under the Advanced OSD menu, go to System Setup : Basic > Auto Off . 2. Press / to select a time period. If the preset ti me lengths are not suitable for your presentation, select Disable , and the projector will not automatically shut down in a certain time period. 3.
