Operation 61 Projecting MX661 QPresenter App MX661 QPresenter is an easy-to-use app which enables your mobile devices to project the display to projector. You can remote control it through Wi-Fi network, and display your photos. Furthermore, it can also display the web browser content. Features: -Remote control your projector through Wi-Fi network -View local photo gallery and do sketch -Display Web pages and support sketch function as well -Streaming image data from camera - Display Dropbox files Supported devices: -iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S -iPad 2, and New iPad (gen 3 iPad) 1. Connect the wireless dongle to the USB jack of the projector. 2. Turn on the power of the projector. 3. Select Network Display from source list. The Network page displays. 4. Download and install MX661 QPresenter from the App Store on your iPad/iPhone. 5. Turn on Wi-Fi settings on your iPad/iPhone. 6. Open MX661 QPresenter. Operation 63 8. Files page lets you to project Documents, Photos, and supports Dropbox on your iPad/iPhone. Documents features with Edit, Jump to page and Sketch functions. i. Edit function lets you can delete documents on your iPad/iPhone ii. Jump to page function lets you to select the page directly. iii. Sketch mode function lets you to display the docment in full screen. The sketch tool bar at the bottom of the screen lets you to edit the projection screen while presenting. This function is also supported under Web and Cam modes. Photos page lets you to project photos saved in camera roll on your iPad/iPhone. i. Operation 64Dropbox lets you bring all your files anywhere and share them easily. Access any file you save to your Dropbox from all your computers, iPhone, iPad and even the Dropbox website! Dropbox only can work under client mode. 1. Go to the SYSTEM SETUP: Advanced > Network Settings menu after opening the OSD menu system. Press MODE/ENTER. 2. Go to the Wireless LAN > Connection Mode and highlight Client Mode. 3. Choose the Wi-Fi network which the projector connect to from the AP list (1). 4. Operation 66 Presenting from a USB Reader This fature displays a slide show of images stored on a USB flash drive connected to the projector. It can eliminate the need for a computer source. To display files: 1. Turn on the power of the projector and the projector displays the home screen. 2. Cnnect the projector to one of the above external memory devices. 3. Storages are classified into Videos, Photos, Music, Documents menu in home screen. Press / to select desired item and then press OK to enter different file browser. File browser • You will only see relevant and supported files in each of file browser. • If you want to disconnect external storages, please select Safe remove icon. • If the file size is larger, the processing time will be longer and a loading icon will display on the screen. Operation 69 Shutting down the projector 1. Press POWER and a confirmation message displays prompting you. If you dont respond in a few seconds, the message will disappear. 2. Press POWER a second time. The POWER indicator light flashes orange, the projection lamp shuts down, and the fans will continue to run for approximately 90 seconds to cool down the projector. • To protect the lamp, the projector will not respond to any commands during the cooling process. • To shorten the cooling time, you can also activate the Quick Cooling function. See Quick Cooling on page 78 for details. 3. Once the cooling process finishes, the POWER indicator light is a steady orange and fans stop. 4. Disconnect the power cord from the power putlet if the projector will not be used in an extended period of time. 5. When Instant Restart is On, users can restart projector immediately within 90 secs after turning off projector. (Projector will maintain 30% of power during the 90 secs) When Instant Restart is Off, users need to wait lamp to cool down to restart the projector. When instant restart is on, quick cooling item will be grey out • If the projector is not properly shut down, to protect the lamp, when you attempt to re-start the projector, the fans will run for a few minutes to cool down. Press Power again to start the projector after the fans stop and the POWER indicator light turns orange. • Actual lamp life may vary due to different environmental conditions and usage.
