ASPECT RATIO 9.1 About Aspect Ratios Overview Aspect RatioDescription FitForces format of all input signals into the native panel resolution. 16:9Wide screen television format/Anamorf format. 4:3Standard television format. 5:4Workstations format. 2.35Panavision or Cinemascope format, frequently used by Hollywood films. 1.88Film format used by a lot of non-action films. 1.78Wide screen television format/Anamorf format. LetterboxForces the letter format of the input signal into the native panel resolution. Select the desired ASPECT RATIO (depending the image format of the input source) item by pushing the * button on the Remote Control. This setting, obtained via the * button will not be saved for later use. Aspect ratios set via the adjustment menus are saved and will be used again next time an equal source is selected.
