    damagetothemachinethroughshaking.Ifthe
    transportscrewsorplasticplugshavebeenlost,
    youcanordernewonesfromyourretailer.

    Removethethreetransportboltsandtheplastic
    plugsforlockingthemachinefortransportbefore
    usingthemachine.
    1.Loosenandremovetheboltsasillustrated
    below.
    2.Toremovetheplasticplugsthatheldthebolts,
    squeezetogetherandpullout.
    3.Removetheplasticcoversfromtheplugs.
    Pushtheplasticcoversintothethreeholes
    thatcontainedtheplugs.Savetheplasticplugs
    incasethemachineismovedinthefuture.
    NOTE!
    Ifthemachineistobetransported,theboltsand
    plasticplugsforlockingthemachineduring
    transportmustbeinstalledtopreventdamage
    tothemachinethroughshaking.Ifthetransport
    boltsorplasticplugshavebeenlost,youcan
    ordernewonesfromyourretailer.

    							Readtheseinstructionscarefullyandcompletely

    shouldbecarriedoutbyaqualifiedpersonwho
    isfamiliarwithalllocalcodesandordinancesfor
    electricalandplumbingconnections.
    Cosmeticdamagemustbereportedtoyourdealer
    withinfivedaysfromthedateofpurchase.After
    unpackingthewasher,thoroughlychecktheunit
    forcosmeticdamage.
    Levelingthemachine
    Itisimportantthatthemachineisleveltoprevent
    excessivevibrationsduringspincycles.Eachfoot
    ofthewasherisadjustable,soyoucanlevelthe
    washeronanysurface.Onceitislevel,securely
    tightenthelocknutsonthefeettoprevent
    excessivevibrationduringspincycles.
    Watersupplyconnection
    SinceASKOwashershaveabuilt-inheating
    element,youonlyneedacoldwaterinlet.The
    connectionshouldbemadebysomeonewhois
    sufficientlyskilled.Usethehosesuppliedwiththe
    washer.(Theinlethoseismarkedforcorrect
    connection.)Thewaterpressuremustbeinthe
    range15–146PSI.Avalveshouldbefittedonthe
    watersupplypipe.Ifanewsupplypipehasbeen
    installedforthewasher,itshouldbeflushed
    thoroughlytoremoveanyforeignparticlesthat
    mightclogthefilterinthefillvalve.
    NOTE!
    Iftheunitisinstalledonasecondstorey,follow
    localbuildingcodes.Werecommendinstalling
    adrippan.

    Besuretotightenthelocknutssecurelywhenyoulevelthemachine.    
    						
    							Drainoutletconnection
    Themachineissuppliedwiththeoutlethose
    alreadyattached.Thehoseshouldbeextended
    overasuitablesinkedgeordrainpipeataheight
    of24"to36"(610mmto914mm)abovethe
    bottomoftheunit.(Thelowerheightispreferable.)
    Makesurethehoseisnotkinked.
    NOTE!
    Ifthehoseisextended,theinternaldiameterof
    thecouplingmustnotbelessthan½".
    WARNING!
    Donotextendthedrainhosehigherthan36"
    (914mm)fromthebottomoftheunit.
    ElectricalConnections
    Themachineisdeliveredready-fittedwithaplug
    andisintendedforconnectiontoanASKODryer,
    whichisequippedwithamatchingreceptacle.
    Theplugsuppliedwiththewashercanonlybe
    usedwithanASKODryer.Ifthewasherisused
    separatelyorwithanotherdryer,itmustbeona

    Followtheseinstructions:
    1.Removethecoverdoorbyundoingthefour
    screws.Thedoorisattachedtotwoplastic
    mounts.Pullstraightout.
    2.Removethecoverplatesfromthemachineby
    pushingthemsideways.Whethertotheright
    ortheleftdependsonhowthedoorisfittedto
    themachine.
    3.Removethedoorfromthehinges(A).Then
    unscrewthehingefromthemachine(B).
    4.Reattachthecoverplatesontheothersideof
    themachine.
    5.Undothescrewsholdingthecoverplatesfor
    thesteeldoor.Reattachthemontheother
    side.
    6.Reattachthehingesontheothersideofthe
    machine.Thenreattachthesteeldoor.
    7.Removethegluedplasticguardsfromthetop
    edgeofthecoverdoorandmovethemtothe
    bottomedge(ifthedoorneedstoberotated
    180degrees).
    8.Refitthecoverdoor.
