Replacing the Stand
Align the pins on the clutch mechanism to the holes in the stand.1.

Replace the stand screws.  2.  
 
Replace the chassis.3. 
Replace the hard drive fan. 4. 
Replace the power supply.5.

Clean and replace the glass panel11 . . Note: This step is very important. Follow the procedures 
to ensure the glass is clean and free of particles.
Replace the access door.

Removing the Chassis 
Slide the AC connector out from under the pressure wall. The pressure wall does not have to 1. 
be removed.
2.  Remove ten chassis screws. Note: The three screws across the top are a longer flat-head T10 
screw and there is one short stubby screw for the ground cable.

Pull the green ground cable through the opening in the chassis.

Lift the chassis out of the rear housing.4.

Replacing the Chassis
Make sure the DC power supply/ SATA/inverter cable is routed properly in the rear housing 1. 
before replacing the chassis. Position the cable between the black tabs on the rear housing. 
Position the chassis into the rear housing.2.  
Pull the AC ground wire through the hole in the chassis.3.

Make sure the microphone cable is pulled up and through the notch in the chassis.

5. Begin with the three screws along the top, then replace the remaining chassis screws, 
including the short AC ground screw.

Slip the AC inlet cable back under the pressure wall.

Replace the stand and stand screws.8.

Re-stick the EMI tape on the mechanism.

Replace the mechanism cover. Re-stick the EMI foil to the rear housing.10.
