Usng Zoom Playback (for stll pctures only)
The zoom buttons can also be used durng playback. Ths 
allows you to magnfy photos up to 2 ~ 8X.
1. Press 
 button to go to the Playback mode.
2.
  Use the  Left/Right 
 navgaton buttons to select a photo 
to magnfy.
3.  Press one end of the Zoom button (
) to zoom n.
4.  Use the Zoom buttons to zoom n and out. The zoom 
ndcaton and the frame of the whole photo shall 
dsplay on the screen.
5. Use the navgaton buttons to pan across the mage.
6.  Press the 
 button to return the mage to ts orgnal 
scale.
Mov e mages cannot be magnfied.

Usng the Delete Button
In Playback Mode, you can press the Down/Delete button 
to delete pctures or vdeos.
To delete pctures or vdeos:
1. Press 
 button to go to the Playback Mode.
2.  Select a pcture or vdeo clp you want to delete wth 
the Left/Rght button.
3.  Press the Down/Delete button and the delete screen 
appears. 
4.  Select Yes or Back wth Up/Down button and press the  button for confirmaton.
Erased photos/vdeo clps cannot be recovered.

Stll Menu
USING THE MENUS
Mode: AUTO  
In any of the above Stll Pcture Modes, press the  
button to go to the Stll  Pcture menu.
To adjust each settng:
1.  In the Stll Pcture menu, swtch between dfferent 
Photo Setup or Camera Setup pages usng the Left/
Rght button, to select the page wth the functon you 
want to adjust and press the Down button.
2.  Press the Up/Down buttons to select the functon.
3.  Press the Rght button to go to the submenu.
4. Press Up/Down button to select an opton or press the 
Left or  button to return to the menu.
5.  Press the 
 button for confirmaton and ext the 
menu.
After select ng a functon, you can press the Up 
button to return to the Stll Pcture menu for other 
Photo Setup or Camera Setup pages. Or you can 
press the Down button several t
 mes to move to the 
next setup menu page.

AF Mode (Auto-Focus mode)
Use ths settng to control the auto-focus mechansm whle 
takng pctures.
Two optons are avalable:
•  Single-AF: The focus frame appears on the center of 
the LCD screen to focus on the subject.
•

  Multi-AF: The camera automat
 cally focuses the 
subject n a wde area to find the focus pont. 
Continuous AF
After Contnuous AF s turned on, the camera wll adjust 
focus automatcally n response to any camera or subject 
movement.
 
Expo Metering (Exposure Metering) 
Use ths settng to select an area for the exposure to be 
obtaned.

Continuous Shot
Use ths settng to perform contnuous shootng. Once n 
ths mode, you must contnuously hold down the Shutter 
button to use ths functon. 
There are five avalable optons:
• OFF: Turn off Cont
 nuous Shot functon.
•  Unlimited: Press and hold the shutter to shoot 
cont

nuously untl you release the shutter or when the 
memory card has run out of space.
•

  3 shot: Capture up to 3 consecut
 ve pctures.
•  3 shots (Last): Capture p
 ctures contnuously untl the 
Shutter button s released but only the last 3 shots 
are recorded.

• Time-Lapse: Automat cally capture pctures n a 
predefined nterval.
The flash s desgned not to work n ths mode n 
order to enable quck successon of shots.
Date Imprint
Include a Date/Tme stamp n the photo mage.

Quick Review
Ths settng refers to the quck photo revew mmedately 
after takng a pcture. The pcture stays on the LCD screen 
for an adjustable perod of tme.

Protect
To prevent any pctures or vdeos from beng accdentally 
erased, use ths settng to lock one or all of the files.
To protect/unprotect a pcture or vdeo:
1.  Press 
 button and find the pcture or vdeo you 
want to protect by usng Left/Rght button.  Once t 
s dsplayed on the screen, go to the Playback menu, 
select Protect settngs and press the Up/Down button 
to make your selecton.
2.  Press the Up/Down button to select the protect
 on 
settng opton and press the Rght button to go to the 
submenu.
