4. Per Tastendruck  können Sie die 
Kaffeestärke wählen (bei weniger 
als 6 Tassen ergibt das einen stärk -
eren Kaffee). Damit alle Aromastoffe 
herausgelöst werden können ver -
längert sich die Brühzeit.

1. Die Maschine ausschalten und 
den Netzstecker ziehen. Alle 
Außenflächen mit einem feuchten 
Tuch abwischen. Kaffeekanne und 
Kannenabdeckung können im 
Geschirrspüler gereinigt werden. 
Nie ätzende oder scheuernde 
Reinigungsmittel verwenden und 
die Maschine nie in Flüssigkeit 
eintauchen!  3. 
Je nach Wasserhärte sollte das 
Produkt regelmäßig entkalkt wer -
den. Den Tank der Produktanleitung 
entsprechend mit Wasser und Ent -
kalker füllen und dann die Schritte 
4 und 5 ausführen.
  Hinweis: Der Wasserbehälter ist ab -
nehmbar.

Remplissez le réservoir avec de l'eau 
et du détartrant en respectant les 
instructions du produit, puis suivez 
les étapes 4 et 5.

met water en ontkalkingsproduct 
volgens de aanwijzingen die bij het 
product zijn geleverd. Voer vervol-
gens stap 4 en 5 uit.
  Let op: Het waterreservoir is afneem-
baar.

2. Για να καθαρίσετε τη θήκη του 
\bίλτρου,  ανασηκώστε τη λαβή και 
αφαιρέστε τη θήκη του φίλτρου. Για 
να καθαρίσετε καλά τη βαλβίδα του 
φίλτρου, ενεργοποιήστε την αρκε-
τές φορές κατά το πλ\bσιμο. Για να 
καθαρίσετε πλήρως τη βαλβίδα του 
φίλτρου, πιέστε την αρκετές φορές 
ενώ την ξεπλένετε. Μπορείτε επίσης 
να πλ\bνετε στο πλυντήριο πιάτων 
το στήριγμα φίλτρου και το μόνιμο 
φίλτρο καφέ.

Filterventil gründlich zu reinigen 
betätigen Sie dieses mehrmals wäh-
rend des Abspülens. 
  Der Filterhalter und der Kaffee-
Dauerfilter sind auch spülmaschi-
nenfest.
2.  Voor het reinigen van de filter-
houder tilt u de hendel op en 
verwijdert u de filterhouder. Voor 
het grondig schoonmaken van het 
filterventiel, drukt u er tijdens het 
spoelen een aantal malen op. 
  De filterhouder en het permanente 
koffiefilter kunnen ook in de vaat -
wasser worden gewassen
2.  Pour nettoyer le porte-filtre,  
soulevez la poignée et retirez le 
porte-filtre. Pour bien nettoyer le 
clapet du filtre, appuyez plusieurs 
fois dessus lorsque vous le rincez. 
  Le porte-filtre et le filtre à café per -
manent	peuvent	également	être

5. Mindestens zweimal nur Was-
ser durch die Maschine laufen 
lassen. Dann die Kaffeekanne, die 
Abdeckung und den Filterhalter 
gründlich unter fließendem Wasser 
abspülen. Dabei das Filterventil 
mehrmals aktivieren.4.  Die Kaffeekanne mit der Abdeckung 
auf die Wärmeplatte stellen. Lassen Sie 
zuerst den Entkalker etwa 15 Minuten 
lang laufen. Drücken Sie zweimal hinter -
einander die Taste „Option“. Die Meldung 
„AUTO CLEAN“ wird auf dem Display 
angezeigt. Drücken Sie die Taste „Set“, 
um die Einstellung zu bestätigen. Sobald 
der Vorgang abgeschlossen ist, bricht 
der Wasserfluss ab und es sind drei 
Pieptöne zu hören. Wiederholen Sie den 
Entkalkungsvorgang, falls erforderlich. 
Hinweis: Vergewissern Sie sich, dass sich 
kein Kaffee im Gerät befindet.

cycle terminé, l’eau cesse de couler et 
trois bips retentissent. Si nécessaire, 
répétez le cycle de décalcification.
  Remarque : Assurez-vous de ne pas utili-
ser de filtre de café.

ker ongeveer 15 minuten inwerken. 
Druk tweemaal op de knop Option 
(Optie). Het display geeft de melding 
“Auto Clean” (Automatische reini-
ging). Druk op de knop Set (Instellen) 
ter bevestiging. Wanneer dit is vol-
tooid, stopt het water met stromen 
en hoort u drie pieptonen. Herhaal 
het ontkalkingsproces indien nodig.
  Let op: Zorg dat er geen koffie wordt 
gebruikt.

στη συσκευή καφές.5. Α\bήστε τη μη\fανή να λειτουρ-
γήσει τουλά\fιστον δύο \bορές 
μόνο με καθαρό νερό. Έπειτα, 
πλ\bνετε καλά την κανάτα του καφέ, 
το καπάκι και τη θήκη φίλτρου σε

Μη βυθίζετε ποτέ την κανάτα– 
θερμός σε υγρό και μην την πλέ-
νετε στο πλυντήριο πιάτων.*

Read the following instruction carefully before using the appliance for 
the first time.
•	 This	appliance	can	be	used	by	children	aged	from	8	years	and	above	and	
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of ex -
perience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction 
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards

Getting started 
1. Place the machine on a flat surface. 
When starting the machine for 
the first time, fill the tank with 
cold water. Press the Option button 
twice. The display will show “AUTO 
CLEAN”. Press the Set button to 
confirm. Let a full tank of water pass 
through the machine once or twice 
to clean it, without using coffee. 3. 
Insert the permanent coffee filter 
in the filter holder and fill it with 
ground coffee. For average strong 
coffee one measuring spoon (ap -
prox. 6-7 g) per cup is sufficient. 
Close the water tank lid and place 
the jug (complete with lid) onto the 
warming plate.

Making coffee: open the lid and fill 
the water tank with fresh cold water 
up to the desired level. 
  Note: The water tank is removable. 
There is a gauge for cups on the water 
tank and on the coffee jug (for the 
Coffee maker with Glass jug only).
  The machine must not be used 
with empty tank!GB
4. Start brewing coffee instantly: 
Press the Brew button. If you want 
to pause the brewing, press the 
Brew button again. When the brew -
ing process is finished the appliance 
will enter keep warm mode (for 
the Coffee maker with Glass jug 
only). 5. 
Press the Cancel button to stop a 
selected operation, the appliance 
will enter standby mode.
  Note: Press and hold the Cancel but-
ton for two seconds to turn off the 
display. 6. 
If the jug is removed, the filter 
valve prevents coffee from dripping 
onto the warming plate. 
  While boiling, the jug must not 
be removed for longer than 30 
seconds or the filter will overflow.

5. The display will show “Change 
Filter” after 60 brew cycles, to 
let the user know that the PureAd-
vantage™ water filter needs to be 
replaced. 
  Place the filter into a container of 
clean cool water, and let soak for 10 
minutes.  6. 
Place the PureAdvantage™ water 
filter (filter end first) into the pocket 
located at the bottom of the water 
reservoir.
Additional features
4. The Aroma Selector extends the 
brewing time to maximize the fla-
vour extraction and get a stronger 
coffee for a small number of cups 
(normally less than 6). Press the 
Aroma button to adjust the aroma 
setting.  3. 
Brewing coffee with the program 
time setting: Press and hold the 
Auto/Start button until the display 
shows the time and the program 
time indicator. 
Set the time by using 
the () or () button, press the Set 
button to confirm. 
  Press the Auto/Start button to start

Cleaning and care 
1. Turn the machine off and unplug 
the power cord. Wipe all outer sur -
faces with a damp cloth. Coffee jug 
and jug lid are dishwasher proof.* 
Never use caustic or abrasive 
cleaners, and never immerse the 
machine in liquid!  2. 
To clean the filter holder, lift up 
the handle and remove the filter 
holder. To clean the filter valve thor -
oughly, push it several times while 
it is being rinsed. The filter holder 
and the permanent coffee filter can 
also be washed in the dishwasher. 3. Decalcifying is recommended 
regularly, depending on water hard-
ness. Fill the tank with water and 
decalcifier according to product 
instructions, then follow steps 4  
and 5.
  Note: The water tank is removable.
4.  Place the coffee jug with its lid 
onto the warming plate. Allow the 
decalcifier to take effect for about 
15 minutes. Press the Option but -
ton twice. The display will show 
“Auto Clean”. Press the Set button 
to confirm. Once finished, the water 
will stop flowing, followed by three 
beep sounds. If necessary repeat 
the decalcifying process.
  Note: Make sure no coffee is used. 5. 
Allow the machine to run at least 
twice with plain water. Then thor -
oughly rinse the coffee jug, lid and 
filter holder under running water, 
activate the filter valve repeatedly 
during the rinse process. 6.  
Never immerse the thermo jug in 
liquid or wash it in dishwasher.*
