Chapter 3 45 Disassembling the lower case 1. Remove the four screws as shown below. 2. Lift out the CPU heat sink. 3. Disconnect the DC-DC converter from the system board. 4. Remove the two screws on the PCMCIA heat sink 5. Slide the PCMCIA heat sink backwards. 6. Remove the hard disk bracket.

Chapter 3 47 Easy Disassembly of LCD Module Removing the battery pack. 1. Slide the battery door notch into an unlocked position. 2. Pull out the battery door. 3. Slide the battery out from the main unit.
