    System Status Indicators
    The Power and Standby indicators are visible even when you close the 
    display cover so you can see the status of the computer while the cover is 
    closed.
    Hot Keys
    The computer employs hot keys or key combinations to access most of the 
    computer’s controls like screen contrast and brightness, volume output and 
    the BIOS setup utility
    .

    Fn-F2 Setup Accesses the notebook 
    configuration utility.
    Fn-F3 Standby Puts the computer in 
    Standby mode. Press any 
    key to return.
    Fn-F4 Hibernation Puts the computer in 
    Hibernation mode (if 
    PHDISK, the hibernation 
    utility, is installed, valid and 
    enabled). Press the power 
    switch to resume.
    Otherwise, the computer 
    enters Standby mode. 
    Fn-F5 Display 
    toggleSwitches display output 
    between the display screen, 
    external monitor (if 
    connected) and both the 
    display screen and external 
    monitor.
    Fn-F6 Screen blank Turns the display screen 
    backlight off to save power.

    Note: If you want to use an external PS/2 mouse, first enable the 
    touchpad, connect the external PS/2 mouse, then disable the 
    touchpad if necessary.
    Activating Hot Keys
    When activating hot keys, press and hold the first key Fn before pressing the 
    other key in the hot key combination.
    Fn-H Turbo mode
