Pass the cable through the upper cover as shown. 3.Remove two (2) screws from the power board. 4.Remove the power board assembly and lift the power board clear of the device. 66Chapter 3 Removing the TouchPad Bracket IMPORTANT: The TouchPad Board cannot be removed individually. To replace the TouchPad Board, replace the entire Upper Cover. 1.See “Removing the Upper Cover” on page 57. 2.Lift the FFC to detach the adhesive securing the cable to the Upper Cover. 3.Release the FFC locking latch and disconnect the TouchPad FFC from the cover.
