Ensure that the cable is free from all cable clips.

Ensure that the cable is free from all cable clips. 4.Turn the Upper Cover over and pass the cable through the cover as shown.

76Chapter 3 Removing the TouchPad Bracket IMPORTANT: The TouchPad Board cannot be removed individually. To replace the TouchPad Board, replace the entire Upper Cover. 1.See “Removing the Upper Cover” on page 67. 2.Lift the FFC to detach the adhesive securing the cable to the Upper Cover. 3.Release the FFC locking latch and disconnect the TouchPad FFC from the cover.
