32 ENGLISHEN 5.3 Start 5.3.1 Starting the engine from cold 1. Set the throttle control (1:F) to its foremost po- sition (full throttle). 2. Press in the cold-starter (1:J) 3-4 times. 3. Hold the handle with one hand and slowly pull the starter handle with the other hand (1:C). When the starter mechanism engages, quickly and forcefully pull the starter handle until the engine starts. 33 ENGLISHEN 7.2 Air filter Do not use flammable liquids when cleaning. Clean/replace the air filter every 10 operating hours or every 3 months. During operation in dry and dusty conditions, the air filter must be cleaned/ replaced every day. Clean the air filter as follows: 1.
