52CHAPTER 5: CONFIGURING THE ROUTER LAN SettingsYour Router is equipped with a DHCP server that will automatically assign IP addresses to each computer on your network. The factory default settings for the DHCP server will work with most applications. If you need to make changes to the settings, you can do so. The LAN settings screen allows you to: ■Change the default IP address of the Router. The default IP is 192.168.1.1 ■Change the Subnet Mask. The default setting is 255.255.255.0...

Wireless Settings55 Wireless SettingsThe Wireless Settings screens allow you to configure the settings for the wireless connections. You can enable or disable the wireless connection for your LAN. When disabled, no wireless PCs can gain access to either the Internet or other PCs on your wired or wireless LAN through this Router.
