Sliding Rails Installation Instructions
This is the procedure to install the Addonics Storage Rack chassis into a 4U-compatible rackmount equipment using the
Addonics Sliding Rails (SRRAIL).
You will need the following items:
Addonics Storage Rack or other rackmount device
4U-compatible rackmount equipment
Large Phillips (cross-shaped) screwdriver

Steps to Create HyperDuo from Controller BIOS
1. Connect one HDD and one mSATA SSD to Hybrid HDD - mSATA SSD controller.
2. Enter Ctrl_M during Marvell Controller POST display to enter into BIOS Menu
3. Select “HBA 0: Marvell 0” and Enter
4. Hit Enter “ Configuration Wizard” selection dialog box

Hardware Installation:
Step 1: Insert mSATA SSD into the slot diagonally.
Step 2: Push the mSATA SDD down so the holes on the mSATA SDD are aligned
with the screw holes on the mSATA - SATA HDD Adapter.
Step 3: Using the two included screws, secure the mSATA SDD onto the adapter.
Step 4: Connect adapter onto a computer with 15-pn SATA power connector and
7-pin SATA data connector to access data on the mSATA SSD, or replace 2.5” SATA
hard drive inside a notebook.

Quick Install
In order to start sharing storage as soon as possible, follow these steps:
1. Attach the NAS 4.0 unit to a network with a DHCP server present (most home routers
provide this by default).
2. All of the NAS 4.0 units functions and features are configured using a Web Interface.
The default administrator user name is ‘admin’ and password is ‘123456’. To access this
