9.2 In the manual tray 1Remove the jammed paper in the manual tray by gently pulling it straight out. If the paper does not move when you pull, or if you do not see the paper in this area, check the fuser area around the toner cartridge. Do not open packages of paper until necessary so that the paper does not absorb too much moisture. • If background scatter occurs on an envelope, change the printing layout to avoid printing over areas that have overlapping seams on the reverse side.
