							This appliance is for HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY. It may be plugged into any
120-volt, 60Hz AC electrical outlet (ordinary household current). Do not
use any other type of outlet.
CHOOSING A LOCATION FOR HEATER/FAN
This heater is intended for use on a flat, stable surface, such as a floor,
tabletop, shelf or workbench in a location where the airflow through the
inlet and exhaust openings will not be obstructed. Keep all combustible
materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes and curtains
at least 3 feet away from heater. Do not use in wet or moist locations, e.g.,
bathrooms or laundry areas, or in areas where paint or other flammable or
volatile liquids are used or stored.
CAUTION: 
Be sure that no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit with
this heater/fan. A circuit overload could occur.
HOW TO USE THE HEATER:
Set the heater on a firm, flat and level surface and adjust angle. To adjust
angle, make sure heater is unplugged and power switch is in the OFF
position. Loosen the angle adjustment knob, adjust heater to the desired
angle, and then retighten the knob to secure in place. 
With the power switch in the OFF position and the thermostat control set
at LO (minimum heat setting), plug cord into electrical wall outlet. Turn
power switch and set at FAN, LO or HI. Turn the thermostat control and set
it from LO (minimum heat setting) to HI (maximum heat setting). The power
indicator light will illuminate when the heater is plugged in and operating.
NOTE:If the power switch is set at FAN, the fan will start immediately. 
(No heating will occur in the FAN only mode.) If the power switch is set to
operate at LO or HI, set the thermostat control at HI (maximum heat
setting) until the desired temperature is reached; then carefully lower the
heat setting until the heater turns off. Heater will automatically cycle on
and off to maintain that temperature level.
SPECIAL FEATURES OF THIS HEATER FAN
POWER INDICATOR LIGHT: To show that unit is switched on and
operating, this Heater/Fan is equipped with a power indicator light that
illuminates whenever the heater is plugged in and rotary switch is turned
on in any position. It will continue to glow even if the thermostat has
cycled and the heating elements are off. 
PTC CERAMIC AUTO SHUT-OFF SAFETY DEVICE: This Heater/Fan is
equipped with a safety auto shut-off and a safety thermal fuse. If the unit
experiences excessive heat, the safety auto shut-off will cycle the
heater/fan off, but the power indicator light will continue to glow,
indicating that the unit is plugged in and switched on. If this occurs, turn
the unit off and unplug it immediately, and check for any objects that may
be restricting airflow through the heater/fan. To permit the safety devices
to cool and reset, allow a cool-down period of at least 10 minutes before
plugging in and switching the unit back on. The Heater/Fan will then
resume normal operation. The safety auto-shut off device is also designed
to operate if the heater is tipped over, front or back, and the airflow is
blocked. 
FROST WATCH FEATURE: Select heat setting. Leave the adjustable
thermostat on the MIN setting. Heater/fan will remain Off unless the
temperature approaches freezing (41¡F). If this occurs, the heater/ fan will
cycle On automatically.

COMO ESCOGER UN LUGAR PARA EL CALENTADOR/VENTILADOR
Este calentador ha sido destinado para usarse en una superficie plana y

COMO USAR EL CALENTADOR:

WARNING: The unit is suitable for grounded RECEPTACLE USE ONLY.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS:This heater is for use on 120 volts. The
cord has a plug as shown at A in Figure 2. An adapter as shown at C is
available for connecting three-blade grounding-type plugs to two-slot
receptacles. The green grounding lug extending from the adapter must be
connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet
box. The adapter should not be used if a three-slot grounded receptacle
is available.
SPECIAL ATTENTION: 
The use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, if it is
absolutely necessary, be sure that the extension cord is (1) rated for at
least 15 Amps; (2) UL Listed; (3) as short as possible (long cords can
overheat, as well as trip circuit breakers); (4) not used for operating more
than one appliance at a time.
HOW TO USE
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to qualified service
personnel if servicing is needed. (For repair parts, refer to the model
number on the label located on the heater.)
TO CLEAN: Always switch OFF and disconnect the cord from the
electrical outlet before cleaning heater.Accumulated dust may be
removed from the heater with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner using the
dusting brush attachment. Interior dust can often be removed by using a
vacuum cleaner in its blower mode with a crevice attachment.
Heater may also be cleaned with a cloth that has been moistened with a
solution of mild detergent and water.Dry the case thoroughlywith a soft,
dry cloth before operating the unit.
CAUTION: DO NOT immerse heater in water or allow water to drip into
the heater housing, as this could create an electric shock hazard.
TO STORE:When storing heater during the off season, be sure to store it
in a dry area. Wrap the power cord into a neat package. The power cord
should not be in contact with sharp edges, and it should not be
compressed by heavy objects.
REMEMBER: Portable electric heaters are designed for space heating 
or as a supplementary heat source. They are not intended to be the main
source of heat.

COMO USAR

PRECAUCION: NO sumerja el calentador en agua o deje que agua
penetre en la caja del motor del calentador, ya que esto podr’a causar
un corto circuito.
PARA GUARDAR:Cuando guarde la unidad, asegœrese de guardarla en

							When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be
followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to persons,
including the following.
ÒDO NOT COVERÓon heater/fan. This means that the airflow through the
inlet and exhaust openings must never be obstructed.
nREAD ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING.
nThis heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin 
touch hot surface. Unplug and let heater cool down for at least 
5 minutes before moving it. Use handles, if provided.
nTo reduce the risk of fire, keep combustible materials, such as 
furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet 
(0.9m) from the front, sides and rear of the heater.
nExtreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near 
children or invalids, and whenever the heater is left operating. Avoid 
leaving an operating heater unattended.
nAlways unplug from electrical outlet (receptacle) whenever heater 
is not in use.
nTo disconnect heater, turn control to OFF, then remove plug from 
outlet (receptacle). REMOVE BY PULLING ON THE PLUG Ñ 
not the cord.
nDo not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after 
a malfunction, or after it has been dropped or damaged in any 
manner.  Return heater to the nearest authorized service repair center 
for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.
nThis heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and 
similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may come in 
contact with water, such as near a bathtub or sink. If the heater does 
become wet, unplug it from the wall receptacle before touching it, as 
a wet heater may create an electrical shock hazard even if the heater 
is turned off.
nDo not use outdoors.
nTo avoid overheating of the cord, do not cover any part of the cord 
with carpet, throw rugs, runners, newspapers, magazines, furniture, 
etc. Arrange cord away from trafficked areas, so it will not be tripped 
over or stepped on.
nDo not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or 
exhaust opening, as this may cause an electrical shock, fire 
or damage to the heater.
nTo avoid a fire hazard, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any 
manner. Do not use on soft surface (such as a bed) where openings 
may be blocked or heater can fall over.
nA heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in 
areas where gasoline, paint or other volatile or flammable liquids are 
used or stored.nAvoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may 
overheat and cause a risk of fire. However, if an extension cord must 
be used, it shall be of a minimum size of 14 AWG and rated not less 
than 1500 watts.  Use only an extension cord that is UL listed.
nTo prevent electrical overload and blown fuses, be sure that no other 
appliances are plugged into the same outlet (receptacle) or into 
another outlet (receptacle) wired into the same circuit.
nDo not place any objects in front of heater.
nDo not place the heater near a bed, because objects such as pillows 
or blankets can fall off the bed and be ignited by the heater.  
nDo not use this heater as an integral part of any life support or 
equipment protection system, where a functional failure 
or misapplication of the heater could jeopardize the people or things 
being protected.
nAvoid using heater/fan while sleeping.
nUse heater only as described in this manual. Any other use is not 
recommended by the manufacturer and may cause fire, electric
