When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
1. Use fan only for intended use, as described in instruction manual.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse unit, plug, or cord in water or spray with liquids.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, when moving fan from one location to another, before putting on or taking off parts,

12. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
13. To disconnect, grip plug and pull from wall outlet. Never yank on cord.
14. Always use on dry, level surface.
15. This product is intended for household use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
16. Do not use fan near curtains, plants, window treatments, etc.

To insure prompt service, please include a letter indicating the specific reason for returning the unit. We will repair or
replace it (at our option) at no charge to you. Please include $10.00 (check or money order) to cover return postage and
handling. California residents have the option of returning the defective unit to the original place of purchase, along with
proof of purchase, within the warranty period for replacement.
If the warranty period has expired, or other terms of the warranty are not met, mail the unit to us as indicated above. 
A service charge will be made according to the repairs needed, and the unit will be returned to you C.O.D.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state, e.g.,
California. No other express warranty is given. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

							HOW TO USE
USER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into any 120V AC electrical outlet (ordinary
household current.) Do not use any other electrical outlet.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, you may notice a slight odor. This is normal and will quickly
disappear.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this 
indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.  Please return it 
to our Service Department or to an authorized service representative. 
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the 
cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE
WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 
1. Remove vertical angle adjustment knob.
2. Insert the fan neck into the base.
3. Insert vertical angle adjustment knob through the round hole in base and fan neck. The vertical angle 
adjustment knob must go through on the side with the round opening.
4. Place the locking nut on the vertical angle adjustment knob so that the nut fits firmly into the 6-sided 
(hexagonal) opening.
5. Tighten the vertical angle adjustment knob.
NOTE:Once the nut is in position in the 6-sided opening, it is not necessary to hold the nut while turning the
vertical angle adjustment knob.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it cannot fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Plug into electrical outlet.
3. Slide the control switch to the desired speed.
4. Control the direction of the airflow by pushing the fan back to tilt up, or by pushing it forward to tilt down.
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself.
Refer it to qualified service personnel if servicing is needed.
Your fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN:Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free
cloth. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor housing free
from dust accumulation. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not submerge your fan in
water or any other liquid. Do not allow any liquid to get into the fan or motor.
TO STORE:Make sure to clean the fan before storing. Retain the original packaging for the purpose of storing
your fan. Always store fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly
around the fan, and do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the fan, as it could cause the cord to fray
and break.

SUGERENCIAS PARA SEGURIDAD CON EL CORDON
1. Nunca hale o tire del cord—n o del artefacto.
2. Para introducir el enchufe, sujŽtelo firmemente y gu’elo hacia el tomacorriente.
3. Para desconectar el artefacto, sujete el enchufe y ret’relo del tomacorriente.

5. Nunca enrolle el cord—n ajustadamente alrededor del artefacto, ya que esto podr’a causar una presi—n 
excesiva en el cord—n donde Žste entra al artefacto y causar desgaste y rotura.
NO HAGA FUNCIONAR EL ARTEFACTO SI EL CORDON MUESTRA CUALQUIER DA„O, O SI EL ARTEFACTO
FUNCIONA INTERMITENTEMENTE O DEJA DE FUNCIONAR COMPLETAMENTE.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA EL ENSAMBLAJE
1. Remueva la perilla para ajuste del ‡ngulo vertical.
2. Coloque el cuello del ventilador en la base.
3. Coloque la perilla para ajuste del ‡ngulo vertical a travŽs de los agujeros redondos en la base y el cuello 
del ventilador. La perilla para ajuste del ‡ngulo vertical debe introducirse por el lado donde se encuentra 
el agujero redondo.
4. Coloque la tuerca sobre la perilla para ajuste vertical de manera que la tuerca encaje firmemente en el 
agujero de 6 lados.
5. Ajuste la perilla para ‡ngulo vertical.
NOTA:Una vez que la tuerca estŽ ubicada en el agujero de 6 lados no es necesario sostenerla mientras estŽ
d‡ndole vuelta a la perilla para ajuste del ‡ngulo vertical.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Coloque el ventilador en una superficie segura y plana donde no pueda caerse o ser halado por el cord—n.
2. Enchœfelo en un tomacorriente.
3. Deslice el interruptor para el control a la velocidad deseada.
4. Controle la direcci—n del flujo de aire empujando el ventilador hacia atr‡s para subirlo o hacia adelante 
para bajarlo.
Este artefacto requiere poco mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas. No trate de repararlo
usted mismo. Si necesita reparaci—n rem’talo a personas calificadas.
Su ventilador est‡ permanentemente lubricado y no necesitar‡ lubricaci—n adicional durante la vida del
ventilador.  
PARA LIMPIAR:Antes de limpiarlo, apague el ventilador y desenchœfelo. Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un
pa–o libre de pelusas. Para asegurar una adecuada circulaci—n de aire al motor, mantenga los orificios
ubicados en la parte de atr‡s del motor libre de acumulaci—n de polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para
limpiar estos orificios. No sumerja su ventilador en agua o cualquier otro l’quido. No deje que ningœn l’quido
entre en el ventilador o motor.
PARA GUARDAR: Asegœrese de limpiar el ventilador antes de guardarlo. Guarde la envoltura original para
guardar el ventilador. Siempre gu‡rdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca lo guarde mientras estŽ enchufado. Nunca
enrolle el cord—n ajustadamente en el ventilador y no ponga presi—n sobre el cord—n en la parte que entra en
el ventilador ya que esto podr’a ocasionar que el cord—n se desgaste y se rompa.
