							HOW TO USE
COMO USAR 
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into a standard electrical outlet.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Align hole at the end of bottom pipe with the screw post on underside of the base. Applying pressure, insert bottom pipe 
into the center opening of the base. On base underside, insert locking pin into bottom pipe hole (Fig.2). Using a Phillips 
screwdriver, slide locking pin over screw post and secure with screw provided.
2. Align top pipe to the connector indentation points on the bottom pipe. Place top pipe onto the connector. Turn top pipe to 
the left (from position 0 to position 1) to secure (Fig. 3). 
3. Slide the fan housing neck connector down over the top pipe. Make sure tab in the fan housing neck connector is aligned 
with the slot on the end of top pipe. Push down until the fan housing neck connector snaps into place.
4. Mount the rear grille to the motor housing by matching the 3 holes on the rear grille to the 3 round pins on the  front of the 
motor housing. Push in firmly until the 3 pins protrude through the 3 holes.
5. Secure the rear grille to the motor housing by placing the plastic collar onto threaded hub and turning clockwise to tighten.
6. Insert the blade onto the motor shaft, matching the slot on the back of the blade with the shaft pin (Fig. 1). Secure blade with 
blade cap, turning counterclockwise to tighten.
7. Test blade operation by rotating it with your hand. There should be no friction with the plastic collar. If blade does not rotate 
freely, repeat steps 5 and 6.
8. Mount the front grille to the rear grille. Set the front and rear grilles facing up first then make sure the rim of the front grille 
fits well under the eight tabs of the rear grille. Snap grille frames together. Align the 2 holes on the sides of the front grille 
with the 2 screw posts on the inside of the rear grille. Insert screws provided through the holes on the front grille and with 
a Phillips screwdriver screw to secure grille.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the fan on a safe, flat surface where it cannot fall or be pulled by the cord.
2. Control the direction of the airflow by firmly holding the fan housing in one hand and loosening the tilt ajustment knob with 
the other. Push the fan grille back to tilt up or push it forward to tilt down. When in desired position, tighten the tilt 
adjustment knob.
NOTE: Fan Head tilts back completely and oscillates at an angle. 
3. To make the fan oscillate, push down on the oscillating knob located on the top of the motor housing. To stop the fan from 
oscillating, pull up on the oscillating knob. Fan Head oscillates in any position.
4. Plug into an electrical outlet.
5. Turn the control switch to the desired speed.
CARE AND CLEANING
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer it to qualified
service personnel if servicing is needed.
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN:Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free cloth. To ensure
adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor housing free from dust accumulation. A vacuum
cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not submerge your fan in water or any other liquid. Disassemble grilles and
blade (Fig. 1). Grilles and blade may be cleaned with mild soap and water. Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe the remaining
fan parts. Do not allow water or any other liquid to get into the motor housing or base. Reassemble fan after grilles and blade
have dried completely. Do not plug fan into electrical outlet until it has been fully reassembled.
TO STORE:Make sure to disassemble and clean the fan before storing. Retain the original packaging for the purpose of storing
your fan. Always store fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the fan,
and do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the fan housing, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the appliance 
should be serviced and the line cord replaced.  Please return it to our Service Department or to an authorized service 
representative. 
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where it enters the 
appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY OR
STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.

INSTRUCCIONES DE ENSAMBLAJE
1. Alinee el extremo inferior del tubo con el agujero de la base, aplique presi—n para asegurarlo. En la parte de abajo de la base 
alinee la ranura que se encuentra en el extremo inferior del tubo con la clavija de metal; presione para introducir la clavija. 
(Fig. 2). Usando un destornillador Phillips, deslice la clavija de seguro sobre el poste para el tornillo y asegœrelo con el 
tornillo provisto.
2. Alinee los puntos de conexi—n de la parte de abajo del tubo superior con las aberturas del conectador que se encuentran
en la parte de arriba del tubo inferior. Dele vuelta al tubo superior hacia la izquierda (de la posici—n 0 a la posici—n 1) para 
asegurarlo (Fig. 3).
3. Deslice hacia abajo el conectador del cuello de la caja del ventilador sobre la parte de arriba del tubo superior. Asegœrese 
que la lengŸeta del conectador estŽ alineada con la ranura en el extremo de arriba del tubo supeior. Presione hacia abajo 
hasta que el conectador del cuello de la caja del ventilador encaje en su lugar.
4. Fije la parrilla trasera en la caja del motor concordando los 3 agujeros que se encuentran en la parrilla trasera con las 
3 clavijas en la parte delantera de la caja del motor. Empuje firmemente hasta que las 3 clavijas penetren en los 3 agujeros.
5. Asegure la parrilla trasera a la caja del motor colocando el anillo de pl‡stico sobre la rosca y d‡ndole vuelta hacia la 
derecha para ajustarla.
6. Coloque la aspa en el eje de la caja del motor, concordando la ranura de la parte de atr‡s de la aspa con la clavija del 
eje (Fig. 1). Asegure la aspa con la tapa, d‡ndole vuelta hacia la izquierda para ajustarla.
7. Pruebe el funcionamiento de la paleta rot‡ndola con su mano. No debe haber fricci—n con el anillo de pl‡stico. Si la paleta no 
rota libremente, repita los pasos 5 y 6.
8. Monte la parrilla frontal a la trasera. Posicione las parrillas mirando hacia arriba y asegœrese de que el borde de la parrilla 
frontal encaje bien en las ocho lengŸetas que tiene la parrilla trasera. Asegure los marcos de las parrillas uno a otro. Alinee 
los 2 agujeros en los lados de la parrilla frontal con los 2 postes para los tornillos del lado de adentro de la parrilla trasera. 
Introduzca los tornillos provistos a travŽs de los agujeros en la parrilla frontal y con un destornillador Phillips atornille para 
asegurar la parrilla.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO:
1. Coloque el ventilador en una superficie segura y plana donde no pueda caerse o ser halado por el cord—n.
2. Controle la direcci—n del aire, sosteniendo firmemente con una mano la caja del ventilador y con la otra aflojando la perilla 
de ajuste de inclinaci—n. Empuje hacia atr‡s la parrilla del ventilador para dirigirlo hacia arriba o hacia adelante para dirigirlo
hacia abajo. Cuando estŽ en la posici—n deseada, ajuste la perilla.
NOTA: La cabeza del ventilador se levanta completamente hacia atr‡s y oscila en un ‡ngulo.
3. Para hacer oscilar el ventilador, empuje la perilla para oscilaci—n ubicada en la parte de arriba de la caja del motor. Para 
parar la oscilaci—n del ventilador, hale la perilla para oscilaci—n. La cabeza del ventilador oscila en cualquier posici—n.
4. Enchœfelo en un tomacorriente elŽctrico.
5. Coloque el control del interruptor a la velocidad deseada.
Este artefacto requiere un peque–o mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas por el usuario. No trate de
repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita reparaci—n rem’talo a personas calificadas.
Este ventilador est‡ permanentemente lubricado y no necesitar‡ lubricaci—n adicional durante la vida del ventilador.  
PARA LIMPIAR:Antes de limpiar el ventilador, ap‡guelo y desenchœfelo. Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un pa–o libre de
pelusas. Para asegurar una adecuada circulaci—n de aire al motor, mantenga los orificios ubicados en la parte de atr‡s del
motor libre de acumulaci—n de polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para limpiar estos orificios. No sumerja su ventilador en
agua o cualquier otro l’quido. Desensamble las parrillas y paletas (Fig. 1). Las parrillas y paletas pueden ser limpiadas con agua
y jab—n. Use un pa–o suave ligeramente humedecido para limpiar el resto de las partes del ventilador.  No deje que agua o
ningœn otro l’quido entre en el motor o la base. Ensamble nuevamente el ventilador despuŽs que las parrillas y paletas estŽn
completamente secas. No lo enchufe hasta que no estŽ completamente ensamblado.
PARA GUARDAR:Asegœrese de desensamblar y limpiar el ventilador antes de guardarlo. Guarde la envoltura original para
guardar el ventilador. Siempre gu‡rdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca lo guarde mientras estŽ enchufado. Nunca envuelva el cord—n
ajustadamente en el ventiladory no ponga presi—n sobre el cord—n en  la parte que entra en el ventilador ya que esto podr’a
ocasionar que el cord—n se desgaste y se rompa.

INSTRUCTIONS POUR LE MONTAGE
1. Aligner le trou ˆ lÕextrŽmitŽ du tube infŽrieur avec la tige filetŽe sous le socle. Tout en appuyant, mettre le tube infŽrieur 
dans lÕouverture au centre du socle. Sur le dessous du tube, insŽrer la goupille de sžretŽ dans le trou du tube infŽrieur. 
(Fig.2.) Ë lÕaide dÕun tournevis cruciforme, faire glisser la goupille sur la tige et attacher avec les vis fournies.
2. Aligner le tube supŽrieur sur les indentations du connecteur sur le tube infŽrieur. Mettre le tube supŽrieur dans 
le connecteur sur le tube infŽrieur. Tourner le tube supŽrieur vers la gauche (de la position 0 ˆ la position 1) pour fixer (Fig.3).
3. Faire descendre le connecteur du col de bo”tier le long du tube supŽrieur. VŽrifier que lÕonglet du connecteur de col du 
bo”tier est alignŽ avec la fente ˆ lÕextrŽmitŽ du tube supŽrieur. Pousser vers le bas jusquÕˆ ce que le connecteur clique 
en place.

7. Tester le fonctionnement des pales en les faisant tourner ˆ la main. Il ne devrait y avoir aucune friction avec le collier 
en plastique. Si les pales ne tournent pas librement, rŽpŽter les Žtapes 5 et 6.
