							HOW TO USE
CARE AND CLEANING
This appliance is for household use and may be plugged into a standard electrical outlet.
This fan has three speeds and a tilt adjustment feature that enables it to be adjusted vertically for maximum
cooling angle.
FAN/BASE ATTACHMENT:
BEFORE ATTACHMENT: Remove fan and base from packaging. Notice fan has two sets of tabs on bottom and
corresponding slots. Base is also contoured to facilitate tilt adjustment. Two rubber feet on underside of base help
maintain stability while fan is in operation. Note location of rubber feet, as this will help in positioning fan correctly
for attachment.
TO ASSEMBLE: Set fan base on a flat, stable surface where it cannot fall or be pulled on by the cord. Place fan in
base so that rear of fan (with motor housing visible) faces rear of base (side where rubber feet are located). Line
up tabs on fan with slots in base. Press firmly on top of fan until sharp clicks are heard, indicating that tabs on fan
are firmly secured to slots in base (see Fig. 2). Test tilt adjustment by placing one hand on carrying handle and
manipulating fan back and forth with the other (see Fig. 3).
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug fan into electrical outlet.
2. Turn fan on and select desired speed.
3. Adjust tilt to suit personal preference. LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on the cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are found, this indicates that the 
appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on the cord where 
it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.
DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY DAMAGE, OR IF APPLIANCE WORKS
INTERMITTENTLY OR STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
IMPORTANT:
During the first few minutes of initial use, a slight odor may be noticeable. This is normal and will quickly
disappear.
This appliance requires little maintenance and contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to fix it yourself. Refer
it to qualified service personnel if servicing is needed.
This fan is permanently lubricated and will not require additional lubrication for the life of the fan.
TO CLEAN:Before cleaning, turn fan off and unplug from electrical outlet. Wipe off excess dust with a lint-free
cloth. To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents located at the rear of the motor housing free from
dust accumulation. A vacuum cleaner hose can be used to clean these vents. Do not immerse fan in water or any
other liquid. Do not allow any liquid to get into the fan or motor.
TO STORE:Make sure to clean the fan before storing. Always store fan in a dry place. Never store it while it is still
plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the fan,and do not put any stress on the cord where it enters the
fan, as it could cause the cord to fray and break.

PARA ADAPTAR BASE/VENTILADOR:
ANTES DE ADAPTARLO: Retire el ventilador y la base de la caja. El ventilador tiene dos juegos de lengŸetas en la
parte baja y las correspondientes aberturas. La base es tambiŽn contorneada para facilitar el ajuste de inclinaci—n.
Dos pies de goma en la parte de abajo de la base le ayudan a mantener la estabilidad mientras el ventilador estŽ en
funcionamiento. Note la ubicaci—n de los pies de goma, ya que esto ayudar‡ a ubicar correctamente el ventilador
para ensamblarlo.
PARA ENSAMBLARLO: Coloque el ventilador en una superficie plana y estable donde no pueda caerse o ser halado
por el cable. Coloque el ventilador en la base de manera que la parte de atr‡s del ventilador (con la caja del motor
visible) quede frente a la parte de atr‡s de la base (el lado donde est‡n ubicadas las patas de goma). Alinee las
lengŸetas en el ventilador con las ranuras en la base. Presione firmemente en la parte de arriba del ventilador hasta
que oiga un sonido, indicando que las lengŸetas en el ventilador estŽn firmemente aseguradas en las ranuras de la
base (Fig. 2). Examine el ajuste para la inclinaci—n colocando una mano en el asa para llevar y manipulando el
ventilador hacia atr‡s y hacia adelante con la otra (Fig. 3).
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
1. Enchufe el ventilador en una toma de corriente electrica.
2. Encienda el ventilador y seleccione la velocidad deseada.
3. Ajuste la inclinaci—n de su preferencia.
Este artefacto requiere un m’nimo de mantenimiento y no tiene piezas que puedan ser reparadas. No trate de
repararlo usted mismo. Si necesita reparaci—n, rem’talo a personas calificadas.
Este ventilador est‡ permanentemente lubricado y no necesitar‡ lubricaci—n adicional.
PARA LIMPIAR:Antes de limpiarlo, apague el ventilador y desenchœfelo. Sacuda el exceso de polvo con un pa–o
libre de pelusas.
Para asegurar una adecuada circulaci—n de aire al motor, mantenga los orificios ubicados en la parte de atr‡s del
motor libre de acumulaci—n de polvo. Una aspiradora puede ser usada para limpiar estos orificios. No sumerja el
ventilador en agua o cualquier otro l’quido. No deje que ningœn l’quido entre en el ventilador o motor.
PARA GUARDAR:Asegœrese de limpiar el ventilador antes de guardarlo. Siempre gu‡rdelo en un lugar seco. Nunca
lo guarde mientras estŽ enchufado. Nunca enrolle el cable ajustadamente alrededor del ventiladory no ponga
presi—n sobre el cable en la parte que entra en el ventilador ya que esto podr’a ocasionar que el cable se desgaste
y se rompa.
CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA

ATTACHER LE VENTILATEUR/SOCLE 
AVANT DÕATTACHER :

Appuyer fermement sur le dessus du ventilateur jusquÕˆ ce que lÕon entende de forts clics, indiquant que les

POUR RANGER :Bien nettoyer le ventilateur avant de le ranger.  Toujours ranger dans un endroit sec.  Ne jamais
ranger si le ventilateur est toujours branchŽ. Ne jamais enrouler le fil trop Žtroitement autour de lappareil,utiliser

pourrait leffilocher et le faire casser.
