4 14 Completing the first-Time Setup The first time you turn on the TV, the Setup App will guide you through each of the steps necessary to get your TV ready for use. Before you begin the first-time setup:• Your TV should be installed and the power cord should be connected to an electrical outlet. • Your devices should be connected. 5 16 ChanGInG ThE InPUT SoURCE External devices such as DVD players, Blu-Ray Players, and video game consoles can be connected to your TV. To use one of these devices with your TV, you must first change the input source in the on-screen menu. To change the input device: 1 . Press the MENU button on the remote. Closed captions display a transcription of a program’s dialogue.If the program you are viewing is not being broadcast with closed captions, the TV will not display them.
