Date When you capture an image with your camera, the image will include a time stamp with the date and time that the image was taken. The Date menu allows you to set your camera‟s date and time as desired. You can also disable the timestamp for future images that will be taken with your camera. The Date options include On – The time/date stamp appears on photos taken Off – The time/date stamp does not appear on photos taken Set Date – Allows you to set the time and date
Downloaded from www.Manualslib.com manuals search engine 31 To Enable/Disable the Time/Date stamp: 1) Press the MENU (M) button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Setup menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll to the Date submenu. 4) Press the MENU (M) button to select the Date submenu and open the submenu options. 5) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the submenu options. 6) Press the MENU (M) button to select and save the desired option (On or Off), exit the menu screen and return to your previous mode. 7) Remember that this setting will be saved by your camera until you manually change the setting or restore the camera‟s default factory settings. To Set the Date and Time: 1) Press the MENU (M) button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Setup menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll to the Date submenu. 4) Press the MENU (M) button to select the Date submenu and open the submenu options. 5) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the submenu options. 6) Press the MENU (M) button to select „Set Date‟ and open the Date and Time settings window. 7) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select each item. 8) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to change and set the selected item (Year, Month, Day, Hour, Minute, Second, Date Format Type).

Auto Power Off Menu You can use the Auto Power Off feature in order to conserve you camera‟s battery life. The designated time represents when your camera will automatically power off. When the camera sits idle for the designated period of time, the camera will shut off completely and will need to be powered on again with the power button before the next use. Frequency Menu The options in the Frequency menu represent the frequency of the electrical current in fluorescent lighting sources in your locale. If your camera is set to a frequency that does not match your country‟s electric current, you may see waves on the images taken by your camera. The Frequency options include: 50Hz – UK, Europe and Australia 60Hz – US, Canada and South America

Format Menu (Format Memory Card) You can use the Format Memory Card menu to delete all of the content that is currently on your camera‟s memory card. Keep in mind that formatting the memory card will permanently delete all of the content on your camera‟s memory card. This option will delete all of the content at one time. If you would like to delete individual images, use the delete menu in the camera‟s Playback mode. Press „OK‟ to proceed with the Format. A format confirmation message appears. Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to select „Yes‟ to format the SD card or „No‟ to exit and return to the previous mode. Press the MENU (M) button to confirm the desired option. b. Select „Cancel‟ and then press the MENU (M) button to exit the format and return to the previous mode. Default Setting Menu (Factory Default Settings) Use this menu to reset your camera settings to the original Factory Default Settings. The Default Setting options include: Ok, Cancel 1) Press the MENU (M) button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Setup menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll to the Default Setting submenu. 4) Press the MENU (M) button to select the Default Setting submenu and open the submenu options. 5) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the submenu

Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to select „Yes‟ to begin the reset to the default settings „No‟ to exit and return to the previous mode. Press the MENU (M) button to confirm the desired option. b. Select „Cancel‟ and then press the MENU (M) button to exit the Default Settings screen and return to your previous mode.
Downloaded from www.Manualslib.com manuals search engine 37 Photo Playback Mode The Playback Mode allows you to review and edit photos and videos that you‟ve already taken with you camera. When you first turn on the camera, the camera is in Photo Capture mode by default. To access the Playback Mode: Press the MODE button twice to open the Playback Mode. The latest captured file appears on the LCD screen. If there are no images stored, a message (No File) appears. For photos, the icon appears on the top left of the LCD screen. Viewing Photos on Your Camera 1) Select your Photo: Once in Playback mode, press LEFT or RIGHT direction buttons to scroll through the images on your digital camera‟s memory card until you find the image you would like to view. Each captured image (videos and photos) is displayed on the LCD screen. Photos appear with an arrow icon on the top left of the LCD screen. 2) Zooming In/Out of your selected Photo: Press the T / Zoom In button to Zoom In and magnify the selected photo. Use the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT direction buttons to navigate around the photo. Note: Press the MENU (M) button to return to viewing the photo without magnification. Press the W/Zoom Out button to Zoom Out of the selected photo. Use the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT direction buttons to navigate around the photo.

The images on your camera will be displayed in a 3 X 3 matrix where you can use the direction buttons to scroll and select images from the thumbnails. 1) Press the W/Zoom Out button. 2) All the images on your camera will appear in the Thumbnail View. 3) Use the UP / DOWN / LEFT / RIGHT direction buttons to scroll and select the image you wish to view. 4) Press the MENU (M) button to enlarge the selected image full size. Photo Playback Mode Quick Function Buttons Your digital camera has a four-directional pad that functions as Quick Function buttons. Quick Function Button Function Left Displays the PREVIOUS image. Right Displays the NEXT image. Other W/Zoom Out Opens Thumbnail View To navigate in the Thumbnail View, press the UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT direction buttons. To select a JPEG from the Thumbnail View, press the MENU (M) button. MENU (M) Opens the menu options for Photo Playback Mode Note: To navigate through the Menus, use the LEFT/UP/RIGHT/DOWN directions control buttons. Saves your selected Menu option.

The Rotate options include: 90, 180, 270, Cancel 1) Press the MENU (M) button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Rotate menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the menu options. 4) Press the MENU (M) button to select and save the desired option, exit the menu screen and return to your previous mode. 5) The selected picture will now appear rotated in the Playback mode. Protect Menu Pictures and Videos taken with your camera can be protected or “locked” to prevent any deletion or alteration being made to the files. The Protect options include: Lock, Unlock 1) Press the MENU (M) button to open the menus for the current mode. 2) Press the LEFT or RIGHT direction control buttons to scroll and select the Protect menu. 3) Press the UP or DOWN direction control buttons to scroll through the menu options.
