507.1.4 Installing the USB Driver – Step by Step If you have determined that your Windows 95/98 PC is USB enabled then you are ready to install the V2800 USB driver. Follow the installation steps outlined in this chapter. USB is implemented differently in Windows 95 and 98. Therefore, there are two distinctly different drivers, one for Win95 and one for Win98. 51Step 5: Specify the Type of Device You are Installing – Scroll down the list of devices and highlight (click on) “System Devices” The V2800 is actually considered a system device due to the nature of its architecture.
