ViewSonic PJ116520 Freezing The Screen NOTE • If the projector continues projecting the same image for a long time (i.e. you forget to exit FREEZE mode), the image might possibly remain as an afterimage. Do not leave the projector in FREEZE mode for too long. Using The Magnify Feature 1Press the FREEZE button. As illustrated on the right, a dialog will appear on the screen, and the screen will freeze at the current image. 2Press the FREEZE button again to restore the screen to normal. The icon “||” will change to the icon “X”. And after a couple of seconds, the dialog will be closed and the screen will be restored to normal. memo The freezing feature will automatically finish if a remote control’s button that changes some display state (ex. blanking the screen, displaying a dialog or a menu, adjusting the picture, changing the input signal) is pressed, or a button of projector is pressed. 1Press the MAGNIFY button. As illustrated on the right, a dialog will appear on the screen to aid you in magnifying the picture. 2Press the POSITION button, then use the cursor buttons S/T/W/X to select the area to zoom. 3Press the POSITION button again to finalize the zoom area. 4Use the cursor buttons S/T to adjust the zoom level. 5Press the MAGNIFY button to close the dialog and restore the screen to normal. memo The magnify feature will automatically finish if the automatic adjustment is execute, or the aspect, the signal type mode of video or the signal input state is changed. ViewSonic PJ116522 Multifunctional Settings Using The Menu Functions This projector has the following menus: MAIN, PICTURE-1, PICTURE-2, INPUT, AUTO, SCREEN, OPTION and NETW ORK. Each of these menus is operated using the same methods. The basic operations of these menus are as follows. 1Press the MENU button. The menu will appear on the screen. 2Use the cursor buttons S/T to select a menu, then press the X (or the ENTER) button to progress. The display of the selected menu will appear. 3Use the cursor buttons S/T to select an item, then press the X (or the ENTER) button to progress. The operation display of the selected item will appear.ex. Turning off the built-in speaker 1) Press the MENU button. 2) Select the “OPTION” using the T button, then press the X button. 3) Select the “SPEAKER” using the T button, then press the X button. 4Use the cursor buttons S/T to operate the item. memo When you want to reset the adjustment, press the RESET button during the operation. Note that the items whose functions are performed simultaneously with operating (ex. LANGUAGE, WHISPER, H PHASE etc.) are not reset. memo When you want to return to the previous display, press the W button or ESC button.4) Use the cursor button T to select the “TURN OFF”. 5Press the MENU button again to close the menu display and complete this operation. memo Even if you don’t do anything, the menu will automatically disappear after a few seconds.5) Press the MENU button again. Performing the SAVE1, SAVE2, SAVE3 or SAVE4 puts the current adjustment data on the memory whose number corresponds with the command’s number. Performing the LOAD1, LOAD2, LOAD3 or LOAD4 loads the data on the memory whose number corresponds with the command’s number, and adjusts the picture automatically depending on the data.
