To install a battery pack, follow the steps as detailed below:
Do not touch the battery release latch while holding the computer or thebattery pack might fall out due to the unintentional release of the batteryrelease latch and cause injuries.
1. Insert the battery pack as far as it will go into the computer.
2. Ensure that the battery pack is securely in place and the battery lock is in its locked position.

Do not try to install or remove a memory module under the following
conditions.
a. The computer is turned on.
b. The computer was shut down in either Sleep or Hibernation Mode. c. Wake-up on LAN is enabled.
d. The wireless communication function is on.

Formatting a memory media card
Memory media cards are sold already formatted in conformity to specificstandards. If you reformat a memory card, be sure to reformat it with a
device such as digital camera or digital audio player that uses the memory
cards, not with the format command provided within Windows.
