This User Manual explains all you need to know about your new TomTom GO Mobile app. 
Your GO Mobile app gives you free navigation for a limited distance each month, including Traffic 
and Speed Cameras or Danger Zones. If you drive more, just upgrade to Unlimited Navigation to 
drive without restriction. Select from a one year or three year subscription, depending on your 
driving needs.

Introducing TomTom MyDrive 
You can now use your smartphone, tablet or computer to review real-time traffic information, plan 
routes, and send destinations and tracks to your TomTom GO Mobile app. Visit mydrive.tomtom.com 
to learn more and to try out the new features.  
Any changes you make to your destinations or favourites on MyDrive are immediately sent to your 
TomTom device or app. To make this happen, you need to be logged in with the same account on

Extended search 
The search results now also show recent destinations or favourite places when you search for 
addresses or POIs. 
Reorder the Menu to your preference 
Tap and hold any icon in the menu for 2 seconds to enable menu reordering. You can then press the 
arrows to move the selected icon left or right in the menu.

Tap this button on your device to start the GO Mobile app. 
Starting the app for the first time 
When you start the GO Mobile app for the first time, you see the following screens: 
 Tour - These screens show you the main features of the app. 
 Enable Location Services - You are asked if the app can use your current location. You must 
agree to this so that the app can find your location on the map. 
 Download a Map - You are asked which map you want to install....

Sending information to TomTom 
When you first start the app or you have reset the app, you are asked for permission to send your 
location to TomTom and to send information about how you use the app. We use your location to 
provide TomTom services near you and along your route, and to keep your map up-to-date. We 
learn how you use the app so we can continually improve.
