If it is not, click on “Add” to open the window called Select Network Protocol and then select TCP/IP from the available choices. Complete the installation of the TCP/IP protocol, then return to the Network window.

You must have a working network adapter in your hardware profile (in this example the Intel 82557-based 10/100 Ethernet PCI Adapter is installed).
