DA-P1
TA SCAMs DA -P1 is a professional portable DA T recorder capable of producing high qualit y recordingin the field.  A pair of high quality mic preamps are equipped with a -20dB pad, +48v phantom power, and a limiter circuit, allowing almost an ymicrophone to plug in and print solid levels withouthaving to worry about o verloading the tape.  TheDA T can record in standard 16 bit tape times, aswell as the 32kHz / 12 bit mode for extended interview recording time.  The shoulder str ap and one battery come with the unit.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
DA T audio industry since the introduction of the format.  DA T is the only true non-compressed digital audio format that was intended to be a target writing media.  The simple flexibility and worry-free operation of DA T recorders contributed to the initial rise of the format, and continues t\
o support it in all lev els of recording.
The DAT Multiple sample r ates can be used, r anging from the long pla y 32kHz, to the CD standard 44.1kHz, to 48kHz for higher qualit y.  Plus, the DA T tapes are reasonably inexpensiv e and offer up to 2 hours (4 hours in LP mode) of uninterrupted audio.

The DA -P1 is anto bring the power of the studio on the road with y ou.  With a pair of highquality mic preamps, phantom power , a -20dB pad and switchable limiter ,you can efficiently gather subtle en vironments or loud Foley effects withoutcrashing y our inputs.  
When you getgathered digitally into a DA W, multitr ack, CD burner , or whatever.  The DA -P1 doesnt limit y ou with SCMS codes, so y ou can transfer all y ou want without fear of cop y prohibits getting in the w ay.
News Gathering
The DA -P1the phantom power on... 120 minutes without phantom power .  Feel freeto let the interview run long.  In fact, the DA -P1 can also record in a longplay mode for up to 4 hours on a 120 DA T, so y oull nev er run out of space.Additional batteries and a carrying case are a vailable for the road w arrior.
