42 The Sample Editor Operations Zooming Zooming in the Sample Editor is done according to the standard zoom procedures, with the following special notes to keep in mind: •The vertical zoom slider changes the vertical scale rela- tive to the height of the editor window, in a way similar to the waveform zooming in the Project window (see the chapter “The Project window” in the Operation Manual). 43 The Sample Editor Using key commands If you activate the “Playback Toggle triggers Local Pre- view” option in the Preferences dialog (Transport page), you can start/stop auditioning by pressing [Space]. There are two ways to edit the start and end positions of a region: •Click and drag the region start and end handles in the waveform display (with any tool).
