Taking the following precautions will pre- vent damage to the transceiver. • Keep the microphone connected or the jack covered at all times to prevent corrosion of electrical contacts; • Never key the microphone unless an antenna or suitable dummy load is con- nected to the transceiver. • Ensure that the supply voltage to the transceiver does not...
